Donald Trump is Interrupting the GOP Cycle

The GOP elite would elect Hillary Clinton rather than have their power in the party usurped by the American voter. George Washington was correct:

The alternate domination of one faction over another, sharpened by the spirit of revenge, natural to party dissension, which in different ages and countries has perpetrated the most horrid enormities, is itself a frightful despotism. But this leads at length to a more formal and permanent despotism.”

The political elite will NEVER give up their power. The definition of insanity: Keep voting and the Constitution will be restored. Not.

Political party-ism is essentially the same as sports team fanaticism. Those who own the ‘League’ don’t care if you’re a Yankees or a Red Sox fan… so long as you get caught up in the game. They want you to spend your time, your money, and your *soul* on it; and become so attached to “your team” that you would rather suffer for loosing, even time after time after time, than to just walk away and stop giving them free space in your head, and free access to your wallet.

Because that is the one possibility which they absolutely can’t stand -- that you might actually stop being a fanatic for “your team”, and start thinking for your self…
