More really good advice, the best solutions for future issues is more prepping.
In a long life, there will be ups and downs, having the security of prepping makes it all easier, even in the absence of disaster. I have been prepping for fifty some odd years, I have never regretted the security it gives me. If you are concerned about future issues, just prep more.
Having good health will allow you to utilize your preps if needed.
As I told my patients, if God didn’t make it, don’t eat it. This covid 1x nonsense should give you some caution about the medical industry and their solutions.
No one has mentioned this or maybe they just forgot. During WW II, nearly all US farm tractors were run off of wood. Same in most of Europe. The principle is called: WOOD GASIFICATION. You can run any gasoline powered motor/engine off of wood gasification. To pull up the plans to build this modification, go to the FEMA website and type in “wood gasification in the search engine. The plans to mod your engine pull up. For an more advanced mod, start at http://www.motherearthnews.com. Good article on this. Search around on the net and the plans will pop up in your search. Go and buy the needed (not much) parts now as that may be an issue later on. I have a file with some upmoded plans. Yes, you can run a F150, a car, any gasoline or even some diesel engines this way.
