Dem Strategist: You Don’t Try to Impeach Someone Because ‘They’re Black in the White House’

Democratic strategist Angela Rye in an appearance on MSNBC’s “PoliticsNation” on Friday accused Republicans of trying to impeach President Barack Obama, because he’s “black in the White House.”

“You don’t just fight to get the person out of office because you don’t like how they comb their hair, the color of their skin or the fact that they’re black in the White House. That’s not what you do,” said Rye, executive director and general counsel to the Congressional Black Caucus.

America has moved past the race baiting. Whether the Republican party has moved past is another question. The pResident needs to be impeached for violations of his oath of office, usurpation of power and illegal acts under the Constitution. Stating that the pResident is black instead of white is the epitome of racism. Ms. Rye is implying that the black race is inferior to the white race.

I do not see the pResident as black, white or mulatto: I see one of too many domestic enemies destroying the country.
