It’s not the flu but it is not what “officials” are telling us it is either.
Martenson is using the stats to instill fear and panic.
Read the Word, talk to God, stop letting fear rule your life.

    • David says:

Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. I don’t believe what the government is saying either. You are making false assumptions about me. Or in other words, you are bearing false witness against me

      • Sunny says:

My comment wasn’t TO you. It is actually addressing Martenson and any others who are looking at the stats so much that they see nothing else. Also those who are reading your site and may believe the lies that are coming from the govt.
Sorry if it seemed that way to you. Not what I meant.

        • David says:

Ok. I think Dr. Martenson has been giving good presentations based on science. I have the necessary background to understand what is happening and its consequences. As I wrote earlier, quarantines are effective but the government is not. We still do not even have the ability to buy masks, let alone cope with food shortages. Pandemic aside, the economy will not come back as it was. I believe this will cause us to return to God, His Word and a better, moral foundation. If we listen, He will guide us.

    • Matt says:

No, Martenson is not posting to instill fear. He’s showing you the numbers. That chart, which is one of many he has created simply shows the factual data of how many people have died from this virus over time. There is a segment of the population, likely in denial as to what is happening, who makes stupid rationalizations such as “more people die annually in car crashes, and we don’t stay home for that, why I are we for this?” The chart is why and it is simple enough that it should be intuitively obvious to you.

  2. Andy says:

The Walmart parking lot was full of cars yesterday to the point of overflow, and NO ONE was wearing masks, gloves, or anything else. I wonder how many of them will be talking to God IN PERSON over the next several months. The failure to understand basic math, and the failure to take seriously the danger of this virus is unbelievable. No the government has not done a good job managing this, but NOBODY knows what to do. We are in uncharted territory, and absolutely everyone is lost. Yes, Read the Word, talk WITH God, because it is always a two-way conversation, and allow Him to guide you, rather than listening to a bunch of people who say this thing is overhyped, or it’s just the flu (we’re way past the number of flu deaths on average for a year, and it’s only been SIX WEEKS).
Sometimes it astonishes me how many people post comments on a preparedness-promoting website who have done absolutely nothing to prep, and so now they whine and scream about having to get back to work. HAVEN’T YOU BEEN PAYING ATTENTION??? This is the SHTF we’ve been preparing for (well, it’s the FIRST one, anyway). Best be stocking up on as much as you can, as fast as you can, and get your freaking garden planted. We’re just in the first inning of this thing.

    • Sunny says:

Think about it. WalMart has cut their hours way back. People are being forced to go when it is already crowded. That’s one reason the parking lot is full. In a lot of towns, there are no other grocery stores cause they ran the others out of business. We have no choice but to go to Walmart for our groceries. Does that sound like a good idea to you?

      • David says:

I live in the same town as Andy. I went to the UGO grocery store this morning. Maybe 10 customers in the entire store. I wore a mask and gloves as did most of the people in the store.

I bought 30 lbs of boston butts for $1.39 a lb so I am in hog heaven. The meats and chicken that I bought were all freshly put out. Would I go to Wal-mart in these times? Not on my life.

Tell me again how the math works, when they do not count Flu deaths? How many people died from flu during the 2014-2015 season?
CDC does not count how many people die from flu each year. Unlike flu deaths in children, flu deaths in adults are not nationally reportable. However, CDC has two flu surveillance systems that are used to monitor relative levels of flu-associated deaths. One is the 122 Cities Mortality Reporting System and the other is mortality data collected by the National Center for Health Statistics. Both of these systems track the proportion of death certificates processed that list pneumonia or influenza as the underlying or contributing cause of death of the total deaths reported. These systems provide an overall indication of whether flu-associated deaths are elevated, but do not provide an exact number of how many people died from flu. For more information, see Overview of Influenza Surveillance in the United States.

CDC also uses modeling studies to estimate numbers of flu-related deaths, but these studies apply only to past seasons and are not done each year. For more information, see Estimating Seasonal Influenza-Associated Deaths in the United States:
43,476 is the Number i see today of deaths
CDC Estimate: 45 Million Flu Cases, 61,000 Flu-Associated Deaths in 2017-2018 U.S. Flu Season
Estimates! In real ville we call these Guestimates!
So many continue lean to the extreme, it seems to me this is where Chris leans also. Chris seems to be more of an economist when you really look into Him. He has taken to this event like a fish out of water though, sure is pumping out the hits!
Most of these models from the very beginning and graphs all seem to lean to the worst case scenereo.
Have you not noticed, they have backed down repeatedly, tripping over their tongues?
Living in perpetual fear is not living, do not let these vampires win!
And just in case there is any threat we are not calling for the flood gates to open(the work force) But hows about some common sense and let the people decide for their selves? If you want to hole up, do it! but leave the rest of us to our day!
Turn me away if i come to you for hospitalization “SAINT FRANCIS” (ASCENSION my foot) and the rest of you also if it serves you well?

    • David says:

As stated (many times) before, Dr. Martenson has a PhD in pathology from Duke and is a published author. Watch tonight’s video and get educated about real scientific studies vs. propaganda. As for the CDC, I would have their top management arrested for their complicity in misleading the public concerning masks and food storage. I would also investigate how their labs were contaminated and put back our initial testing efforts by weeks.

If you are living in fear, you are living in sin as you have no trust in God’s plan for us. As stated before, Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.
