Gov. Ralph Northam (D) announced Monday his “assault weapons” ban will mean AR-15 owners can either register their guns with the government or hand them over.
The Virginia Mercury reported Northam spokeswoman Alena Yarmosky used a statement to say, “The governor’s assault weapons ban will include a grandfather clause for individuals who already own assault weapons, with the requirement they register their weapons before the end of a designated grace period.”
Gov. Northam made clear his intention to launch a war on guns just days after the Democrats won legislative victories. He has a number of gun control plans in addition to an “assault weapons” ban.

Someone who actually knows the authority of the Grand Jury. The problem is that the Supreme Court placed the jury under the authority of prosecutors somewhere back in the late 50’s early 60’s, and thereby usurped the power of the people.
There are 3 authorities that the Framers placed in the hands of the people. The Grand Jury, the Petit Jury, and the Militia “to execute the Laws of the Union”. Indictments handed down by the Grand Jury would be executed by actual, real, state recognized Militia. That all went away years ago, and we have, in part, the NRA who assisted in the obfuscation of the rule of law.

Perhaps giving the governor the finger might work more effectively if we had “the Militia of the several States” to march on up to the capital and place the governor in irons for usurping the power of the People.
