What Is Your Fair Share of Freedom?

The people of America need to be reminded about the consequences of compromise by our “leaders”.

“Compromise, hell! That’s what has happened to us all down the line — and that’s the very cause of our woes. If freedom is right and tyranny is wrong, why should those who believe in freedom treat it as if it were a roll of bologna to be bartered a slice at a time?” — Jesse Helms writing in 1959 on compromise in politics.

The political process in Washington, D.C. has nothing to do with the economy, federal budget, fiscal policy or the debt ceiling. It is all about spending. Uncontrolled spending achieves their intended goal: power over the people by enslaving them in debt. Your fair share of taxes will never be defined other than “MORE”.

We have left our leaders barter our freedom away a slice at a time until we now find ourselves at the precipice of being disarmed. This is the final step which has one of two immediate outcomes: civil unrest or capitulation. Our future is not about taxation: it is only about power over us by petty politicians who have abandoned the Constitution, the rule of law and God. We have been given rights by the Creator as recognized in the Declaration of Independence. If our politicians have abandoned our rights under natural law, then we must ask at which altar do they worship? It is not at the altar of the Judeo-Christian God which is the capstone of our country’s founding principles, the Constitution and the rule of law.

Why would any patriot support a “king” who has a “kill list”? Why would any patriot barter (or let the government steal) his freedom away. Freedom is an absolute: you are either free or a slave. George Washington fought for the independence of the colonies over this issue. He recognized that taxation without representation allowed the government to take a portion of the fruits of his labor without any recompense. That was slavery in his mind and an affront to God’s natural laws. George Washington fought for his freedom, not unfair taxation. As did the patriots who fought in our Revolution. As should we.

The above image is not about paying your fair share of taxation: IT IS A CALL TO ARMS.

I’m reminded of the scene in Dude, Where’s My Car? when they’re ordering at the Chinese restaurant’s drive through and the lady keeps saying. “and then?’
