Exactly as designed. ALL of these malicious, illegal, lawfare cases against Trump and others; were riddled with escape hatches for the defense teams. Until the cases produce a final judgement AND sentencing; and entered into the record; the criminals on the defense teams and on the bench cannot be charged for their crimes; as the crimes were not fully carried out to fruition.

Yes; but also the Judges involved. A legitimate Judge would have never allowed this type of fraud into the courts to start with.
