I make a motion that we modify this project to put the first Muslims on the moon. We’ll get them there; they can use their own technology to survive, calling on their purportedly rich history of scientific contributions.

I guess they had to get in on the April Fools game…
Sad that they were able to headline it as “finally some good news from NASA”.
NASA lost it’s way about 20 years ago, and has never recovered. It is now just a giant, pointless bureaucracy -- like all the rest of the alphabet soup served on the Federal Plantation.

As such, it should be defunded, just like the rest of them.

And no, this comment is not an April Fools joke — I’m completely serious that NASA should be defunded, just like the rest of the extra-Constitutional agencies. Let private enterprise work on sending men into space, as they already are.
