Jewish people in the Hebrew Bible are also called Hebrews and the Children of Israel or Israelites. A non-Jewish person is a “gentile.” This term translated to Hebrew is גוי (goy); the plural is גויים (goyim). Goy & goyim translate to ”nation” or ”nations.

I have to respectfully disagree with you about the Jews being Gods Chosen people. they are no longer when Christ was hung on the cross, they lost that marking at the cross when God Split the veil of the temple and rent it onto two pieces with his finger, thereby affirming Gods divorce with the nation state was finalized by His son’s death on the cross. God is no respecter of any people, race, tongue or nation, if you believe in Christ and repent of your sins then you will be saved just as the Jew will be saved if they confess the same. Remember, the original Aposltes were all Jews and were all taught by Christ himself and they witnessed firsthand all the miracles he performed, and they believed in him, while the Jewish Sanhedrin and Herod wanted Christ dead and buried and gone from the state forever. God only recognizes who he calls to himself and the Jewish state is like any other nation state in the world with no special entry into heaven thru some back door where only the Jew can enter, this would make Christ and his word a liar. It’s men that are liars and not his Holy word, we must all be fearful and reverent when we read Gods word because it’s the words that have come forth from his mouth, anything else that is added or taken away is damnation to the person or persons doing it.

The 144,000 Saved is a symbolic number of all the people being saved and called by God including the Jews who repent and confess their sins. Many times, in the Bible God uses symbolic language to get his point and truth across to his people, God stated in the last days the wise and prudent will know what is happening in the face of all the deception taken place around all of us of which is very evil and wicked, the deception is everywhere even in our own families.
