Hiding from ICE raids and Border Patrol. This is where American Jobs have gone, completely replaced with cheap ILLEGAL labor

Somebody needs to be in prison after being asset stripped to their underwear and their family thrown out to live on the street. The dirt bags paid sub-standard wages and saved bucket loads of $$ and charged the same price for the house/construction work.
Actually, they charged more.
The idea that cheaper labor increases profit margins is fundamentally flawed in a free market society. Prices are determined by the marketplace, not by whatever someone wants to charge. Construction is a highly competitive marketplace, and in order to compete one has to keep overhead to a minimum. The prices that the public is paying are based on cheap labor (compared to what a citizen of this country is willing to accept for the same job). If the immigrant labor (legal or not) has to be replaced with more expensive labor, everyone’s prices are going to go up.
I’m not defending illegal immigration or labor, merely stating facts. Yes, I’m a construction contractor.
You now know who to prosecute under RICO charges.
Place smells better already.
Every company from small to large that employed should have it’s owners charged and tried. It would be great to see the board of directors of a major corporation perp walked.
OK, but only if we can get some philosophical honesty and across the board responsibility. Have you eaten at a restaurant lately? Have you bought beef, chicken, pork or fish lately? Have you purchased or eaten fresh produce or fruit (that you didn’t personally grow) lately? Do you own a dwelling of any sort? Then you are likely guilty of subsidizing illegal labor. So about that RICO bs…. This subject needs to be thought through to at least the second and third order effects. It’s not a simple answer. In order to own the4 moral high ground on this issue, one needs to demand that all of their money be spent on products that were manufactured, grown or processed by American labor. And be willing to pay a very high premium for that. Have any of us ever seen one time where, given identical products, we would not choose to purchase the least expensive of the two?
