To Tom: with all due respect, get your daughter out of that school as fast as you can, and demand a full refund. There is no telling what kind of signs they’ve posted in the girl’s rooms.
strider777, it’s not that simple. For whatever reason, their daughter has decided this is where she wants to go. If she suddenly changes her mind, fair enough. The time to say no for a parent is before someone pays for tuition, not have a tantrum after receiving the acceptance letter.
Yes, you are right, of course. But I remember when not too long ago, in America, this sort of insanity would not have been tolerated. I believe in being open-minded to the ideas of others but not to the point to where my brains fall out all over the floor.
My thoughts were basically the same “And you left her there?”
Many parents are being confronted with newly intensified culture wars, at least for them, as they take their loved ones to these universities. One friend spoke about her daughter having to take a loyalty pledge which included speech and facial expressions because the majority of residents in the house were LGBTQ etc. They were also requiring “white privilege” self-imposed shaming and more. It is time for human beings of all ages to say, “NO!” Universities perhaps more than any other institution will wither if there are no “influencers” among their new crops. Even though the academics need to think of themselves as being able to create the new leaders of tomorrow, that is only true if the majority are established in the traditional culture. That means, the youth need a background in something to reject or something to preserve. But the idea that a new culture can be manufactured out of the pitifully lost is a Don Quixote type of nightmare. My advice, RUN. RUN FAST.
it just keeps getting sicker and sicker. satan is laughing his evil spirit off and counting how many souls he is dragging into hell with him, what satan doesn’t understand,and does not want to believe, he, the beast and the false prophet are going to a special place below hell and will be tormented eternally forever, they won’t even be in hell where everyone is going, except for Gods elected. this will be a sad day on this earth as judgment befalls all of these possessed people.
