I don’t see the point of the exercise below. When will we stop begging for our freedom and throw off these chains forged in Washington, DC? Does that sound like a sovereign citizen or a patriot?

Polls show Americans of all parties are upset with the direction of the country, but what can they actually do to make a difference?
Retired Maj. Gen. Paul E. Vallely, as chairman of Stand Up America, has been at the forefront of many of these rallying cries, encouraging Americans to take action in a number of ways.
But now the former deputy commanding general of the U.S. Army in the Pacific has settled upon a battle plan he believes could actually work: a House-led, parliamentary style vote of “no confidence” in Obama’s administration.
“I have already achieved a level of ‘no confidence’ in Obama as a leader, but now I urge you to examine this concept,” Vallely wrote in an email to supporters obtained by WND. “If you agree with me that all confidence is lost, I urge you to then ask yourself what is in the realm of the possible. I implore you to push aside the urge to try and fix everything in one fell swoop.
“Now is the time for something a dear friend calls ‘conviction without eviction,’ an end that can be brought on through a vote of no confidence, locally, statewide and nationally,” Vallely claims. “This is just a first step in what can only be repaired over time, but it is achievable in the short term and starts to remove Obama’s ability to continue his ruinous ways now.”
Excerpt from the Collected Works of Lysander Spooner:
The whole Revolution, therefore, as a Revolution, was declared and accomplished by the people, acting separately as individuals, and exercising each his natural rights, and not by their governments in the exercise of their constitutional powers.
It was, therefore, as individuals, and only as individuals, each acting for himself alone, that they declared that their consent—that is, their individual consent, for each one could consent only for himself—was necessary to the creation or perpetuity of any government that they could rightfully be called on to support.
In the same way each declared, for himself, that his own will, pleasure, and discretion were the only authorities he had any occasion to consult, in determining whether he would any longer support the government under which he had always lived.
And if this action of each individual were valid and rightful when he had so many other individuals to keep him company, it would have been, in the view of natural justice and right, equally valid and rightful, if he had taken the same step alone.
He had the same natural right to take up arms alone to defend his own property against a single tax-gatherer, that he had to take up arms in company with three millions of others, to defend the property of all against an army of tax-gatherers.
Thus the whole Revolution turned upon, asserted, and, in theory, established, the right of each and every man, at his discretion, to release himself from the support of the government under which he had lived.
And this principle was asserted, not as a right peculiar to themselves, or to that time, or as applicable only to the government then existing; but as a universal right of all men, at all times, and under all circumstances.
” … a universal right of all men, at all times, and under all circumstances.”
How about a vote of no confidence for all of the federal government by the people?
How about a vote of no confidence for the GOP ?
This just posted on Canada Free Press:
Conservatives, especially those within the TEA Party, are under attack by ‘elitist, status quo’ Republicans, the Chamber of Commerce, and the Republican Main Street Partnership (RMSP), and generous donors to the RMSP, the International Union of Operating Engineers and the Laborers’ International Union of North America (courtesy of conservativebyte.com).
A skeptical person might believe the RMSP is an elitist, puppeteer front, embedded within the GOP machinery, to offer a two-front attack, synchronized with the Communist Democrats, upon conservative patriots!

Women, children and slaves had no say, they couldn’t vote. If suffrage prior to the revolution was similar to after, then many freemen didn’t have a say, either. “What sort of government have you GIVEN us, Mr franklin?”
“He had the same natural right to take up arms alone to defend his own property against a single tax-gatherer, that he had to take up arms in company with three millions of others, to defend the property of all against an army of tax-gatherers.
The people acted as individuals and created the Continental Congress. When the founders talked about liberty, they meant being governed by their own congress under their own laws rather than the British crown. They still paid taxes, they just paid them to local government rather than Britain. They became their own army of tax gatherers.
Lysander Spooner was utopian who viewed history and the world less than objectively. One thing you can I can agree on, though, is that removing obama will not solve the problem.
We are in the same situation today as in the 1770s. Our government was designed for 13 states and 3-4 million citizens, today we have 50 states (and however many territories) and over 300 million people. I have been to 38 of the states and they are very different culturally and economically. We are too big, too many and too diverse in every way to possibly form a cohesive society.
It is time to dissolve the political bands that connect us and let each state, or group of states, go its own way.
It is going to be very hard to get obama out -- He was elected by the people -- because he took advantage of a basic factor of human nature during his campaign -- How did he do it??
He took a lesson from a little girl -- (this is a true story by the way)
The eighth grade class in a fairly large school was holding an election for class president. It finally came down to a debate between the two frontrunners (a boy and a girl).
The boy went first and addressed some of the issues facing the school, he promised to lobby for more study hall time so students could get more homework done at school. He promised staggered class schedules to reduce crowding in halls, he would work to improve lunches in the cafeteria. He promised that if elected he would work hard to improve conditions in the school. Everyone clapped and he sat down.
The girl stood up and said “If you elect me, i will buy everyone in school a hot fudge sundae” and sat down.
The girl won by a landslide
Obama is not stupid, he understands human nature (and is very good at exploiting it) -- the only way obama is going to be ousted, is for his voter base to not get their “hot fudge sundae”
