Fifty years ago, my wife and I moved to NW AR to homestead. Our land was paid for, had a shell home built and we had money for a well and septic system!
The well was dry! For the next two years I carried water from town! We needed about fifteen gallons a day, for drinking, cooking and washing (no laundry)!!
These days I have a pond, spring for six months a year and five thousand gallons in storage! All my water can gravity feed the house and gardem. I can not over emphasize the need for abundant water!!
For long term life, a few hundred gallions in storage wont cut it!
Finally if you have adaquet amounts, is it safe? Can you filter or purify it?
If you have a good well, do you have a manual pump, well bucket, solar for a electric pump?
Can you manage in a grid down situation?
I liked what you said especially in this day and age, for my family i wouldn’t spend a dime In pedophile sodomite Disney world if my life depended on it. Prepping is more important now then ever before.
