Marco Rubio on Tuesday officially won the endorsement of Rep. Trey Gowdy, the chairman of the Select Committee on Benghazi, as the two hit the stump together in Iowa.
“It’s not my job to tell you who to vote for, but I’m going to tell you who I’m going to vote for,” the South Carolina congressman said while introducing Rubio at a town hall event.
“I’m going to vote for Marco Rubio, and I’ll tell you why. National security and public safety are the most important issues to me and there is nobody better on those two issues than Marco Rubio.”
He immediately chided President Obama, who has filled out his NCAA basketball bracket on ESPN each year of his presidency.
“Our Founding Fathers did not give us a commander-in-chief to fill out March Madness basketball brackets, or to sample every golf coast on the Eastern seaboard,” Gowdy said.

So what what Rep. Gowdy’s price to endorse the GOP’s pick for pResident? I am betting it was attorney general.

“Rubio”? A Cuban immigrant? What a complete twit! And our Constitution says WHAT???
When he took over the investigations and started grilling on Benghazi and FnF and the rest of those scandals, I thought we might have a pit bull. Turns out he’s nothing but a yapping Chihuahua. Another “turn-coat” John Beohner without the sniveling and tears. They disgust me! Not one of them, in either house, is worthy of even so much as an acknowledgement of their existence.
If an Ebola epidemic were to befall DC, I would revel in glee. None would be more deserving than they.
Mind you, I’m not “anti-government”. We DO have a good one; best to be found. However, it’s the ones running it, the administration, that is corrupt.
The man is a talented political thespian.
Let the show begin!!
It has not been hard to figure out that gowdy is part of the dog and pony show. This act should leave no doubt in any sane persons mind that he has no love of America.
