Hate Speech: The New Racism Label

Our local newspaper in Murphy published a letter from a reader who has labelled my office as a center for hate speech. Does anyone think the following qualify as hate speech?

 

obama, obama jokes, political, humor, cartoon, conservative, hope n' change, hope and change, stilton jarlsberg, obamacare, blue cross

Well of course it’s “hate speech”, he is liberal and you disagree with him. Just as those who seek to have an enforceable border are “racist”, “nativist”, or “xenophobic.” Also anyone who is White and disagrees with Obama MUST be “racist.”

Now of you’re expecting reason, logic, facts, or words with fixed meaning from the same crowd you are destined for disappointment. Followed by more name calling.

Now confess your sin…..paying attention to idiots….and for penance post more derogatory item. And preferably quickly, if you don’t mind.

I would file this under the heading “never try to teach a pig to sing”.

There is only one cure for the metal disease called “liberalism” -- large doses of vitamin L. It is best administered as a shot in the backside, with a velocity of about 2850fps.
