As someone has already mentioned, expect to see a lot of retirements and not running again. Not that stepping down will get someone off the hook but it will take them out of the limelight and allow for more prep time for trial and for ‘putting one’s house in order. (Or for moving abroad).

and lets not forget that hiding of the money trick. watches and gem stones are easy to get and move. they also hold their value too.
kind of odd that normal people have to pay for all of the above by themselves while these clowns get to write EVERYTHING OFF?
so, how about this. term limits for one. and then make them all live in base housing like the military does. and then healthcare. make them use the VA. anything else, they pay for themselves
and here a “green idea” no more personal cars. you take a bus.
and make it a electric one at that- no heat or A/C
just think of all the CO2 they would save !
if it’s good enough for the military, it should be good enough for them.
I could go on, but you get the idea.
but a review of their “net worth” before and after their term is up is a must.
anything over what they should have saved is taken back from them
if it in the millions like a lot of them. prison terms and not at ‘club fed”
like the IRS has done to a lot of US. make them account for every penny they have.

these are criminal people who must go to federal prison for fraud and the agent at the IRS who protected their crimes.
