On Tuesday night, the House Rules Committee on Tuesday voted to advance the McCarthy-Biden Fiscal Responsibility Act.
The 9-majority and 4-minority committee voted 7-6 to advance the bill with Reps. Chip Roy and Ralph Norman voted against the measure. “House Rules Cmte approves rule to govern floor debate on debt ceiling bill tomorrow. The vote was 7-6. Roy and Norman defected Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) votes yes on the rule. Reps. Chip Roy (R-TX) and Ralph Norman (R-SC) were nays,” Fox News Congress reporter Chad Pergram reported.
The full House of Representatives will vote on the bill Wednesday night.
House Freedom Caucus Chairman Scott Perry on Tuesday left open the possibility of filing a motion to vacate and get rid of McCarthy if the Speaker pushes through the debt deal.

A simple majority – at least 218 votes if all members are present – will be needed for passage. The Democrats will all likely vote in favor of the passage. Democrats have 212 seats in the House of Representatives. They only need 6 more votes to pass the flawed uniparty bill.

I know of a middle aged, White male who spent two years applying for social security disability, then appealing denials, going to the exams and on and on. Finally, he had a hearing with a judge, who summarily denied his claim, in spite of evidence including his doctor who submitted a letter to the effect that he was unable to perform the duties required in the trade in which he had been employed. Upon denial, the man’s lawyer told him “this happens a lot lately with the way things are”. Basically, the lawyer was telling him “you’re White, born in America, middle aged and not part of any DIE group”. Further appeals on the federal level will take AT LEAST another two years. While this guy is unable to work. And White. So no SS disability in spite of a lifetime of paying into the system. And THAT is how White privilege works. And we all know if his skin was some other color than white, or if he was an illegal immigrant he’d already been approved months and months ago.

America is perched on a giant mountain of debt. Instead of reducing spending (by which the debt would be reduced) they continue to spend more. The mountain of debt grows higher yet. We are told that if Congress fails to pass this huge spending bill America would default on its debt and our whole economy and way of life will fall off a cliff. However, we all know that there are laws that govern economics. Those laws tell us that the higher the mountain of debt, the higher the cliff we will go over one day.
Just as there are laws that govern economics, there are spiritual laws as well. Neither can be violated without consequence. One of the spiritual laws that govern this world is found in Deuteronomy 28. That law tells us that if a nation serves the Lord, it will be blessed. It also states that if a nation reject its God, it will be cursed.
Deuteronomy 28:28 says to the nation that rejects Him:

I just called and emailed David Rouzer’s office NC -7 in Washington, he is a supporter of the bill. I talked with one of his aides and pointed out all the fallacies. The non cap, the the less than 10% pulled from the IRS. Not getting the full REINS act or HR 1. The inflationary nature and other items. I also called them out on the fallacy of us actually defaulting.
With reps like Rouzer we all might as well vote progressive and bring on the collapse. It really piss’s me off when I think about my grandchildren and the destruction of the economy and what it means to them.
We want to spend almost a trillion on the DoD when the real national security threat is the debt and the system that leads to it.
At best we will be like Japan in the lost decade. I shudder to think about the worst case.
