I will tell you! Prep as much as you can, as if your life depends on it, as it does!
I have been a prepper for Fifty years. I have never seen so many threats, from so many directions, each of which could cause life threatening problems!

Self sufficiency takes time, skills take time to develop, becoming a good gardener takes time, getting good garden soil some times takes years to develop!
Do it, If not for you, your children

People whine about the cost of eggs, but they don’t get that folks are DYING around the world for lack of food. Grab what you can and preserve it for the long haul now. If you are not doing this already you are behind the curve but there is still time. We are blessed that we still have what we have at the prices we have right now. Tell me I’m wrong a year from now.
