I feel a tremendous responsibility to write this article though I am a little apprehensive. Thinking about the possibility of rising up against our own government is a frightening thing for many of us. I am not Johnny Rambo and I will be the first to admit that I do not want to die. The reason I feel compelled to write this, however, is simply because I don’t think the average American is equipped with the facts. I feel that a lot of American citizens feel like they have no choice but to surrender their guns if the government comes for them. I blame traditional media sources for this mass brainwash and I carry the responsibility of all small independent bloggers to tell the truth. So my focus today is to lay out your constitutional rights as an American, and let you decide what to do with those rights.
About a month ago I let the “democracy” word slip in a discussion with a fellow blogger. I know better. Americans have been conditioned to use this term. It’s not an accurate term and it never has been a correct term to describe our form of government. The truth is that the United States of America is a constitutional republic. This is similar to a democracy because our representatives are selected by democratic elections, but ultimately our representatives are required to work within the framework of our constitution. In other words, even if 90% of Americans want something that goes against our founding principles, they have no right to call for a violation of constitutional rights.
h/t every other site that already posted this important message about our duty
Hmm…I agree if a fair, but tough question. If guns were outlawed, would I be willing to go to Leavenworth? If I had swat surrounding my house to illegally confiscate my weapons, would I be willing to sacrifice my wife and myself in a shoot out to the death, knowing I would never get to see my grandchildren again.
Would I be willing to face Christ after the shoot out and tell him why I took a few swat members out with me.
Like I said, tough call…
If you haven’t already asked, and answered that question, then you’ve just been posing for the last 4 years.
United we stand. Divided we fall. What next?
Remember how the French helped the continental army during our first revolution? Well, it’s about time somebody reminded the rest of the world that America supplies a huge percentage of the world’s food supply and if there is a revolution here, the farmers will only produce food for the Patriots and the rest of the world will be left to go hungry. So, which countries will help the Patriots and insure their food supply?
Rochambeau, Lafayette and de Grasse were all present at Yorktown. Without France’s assistance, Washington would not have won the battle at Yorktown and the Continental Congress would have brokered a peace with England that would not have given us freedom from England. The financial drain on France to support our Revolution was one of the reasons for the French Revolution.
Since the people manipulating our future have a reduction in the human population to 500 million as one of their goals, I do not think feeding the people is high on their agenda.
If one calls himself a Christian he has the duty to fight. It might be helpful to take a look at what Dietrich Bonhoeffer did with regard to Nazi Germany. He said that the church, when confronted with a tyrannical government, had to respond. Use the analogy of a huge semi truck being driven across the land for the tyrannical government. Bonhoeffer had a three point plan. He said first, Christians had the right to question the driver and criticize his driving. Second, Christians had to come to the aid of those being run down by the driver. And third, if the driver won’t listen and continues on his way then Christians have the right to use spike strips on the truck’s tires. The only problem is that our pulpits now, for the most part, are populated by cowards who have failed miserably to warn and equip their flocks.
“A tyrannical rule cannot in any reasonable construction be accounted lawful, and therefore the disturbance of such a government cannot be esteemed seditious, much less traitorous.” ~ Thomas Aquinas.
Which point are we at?
