Running the risk of stating the obvious, but if a man has ANY holes in his preps AND thousands of dollars in a less than liquid vehicle like a 401k, the man may consider acting quickly to avoid fedgov from confiscating much of his wealth. Narrowly put, convert non liquid assets to cash, and convert cash to hard assets like fuel, food, ball bearings and backup leather pockets surgical tubing for the ol’ wrist rocket, wool socks, a tractor, polypropylene base layers, multiple pairs of good boots, a cistern for water storage and equipment for catchment, a good bugout vehicle, rural property, archery equipment, food and game processing equipment, pre 90’s vehicles, spare parts, barter goods like liquor, coffee, cigs, seeds, manual (non power) tools, a generator, extra firewood, a chainsaw, a backup chainsaw, various manual saws, a bone saw for game (and worst case scenarios), a hand pump for a well, or a method to pull a well pump and then use a cylinder on a rope/pulley with a check valve in it (so that it will immerse at water level and then the valve closes once the cylinder is full) so you can draw water from your well manually, water filtration, bicycles, comms, night vision, oh, and manual air pumps and patch kits for tires, and did I say extra fuel, water storage and ball bearings for the ol’ wrist rocket already? And don’t forget extras for those who you know and love that spend saturdays watching college sports! on tv, or napping on the couch aided by a televised golf tournament. Otherwise, plan on nursing regret once fedgov confiscates that wealth and loved ones suffer for it.
