If you have extra dollars, you better be putting them into something tangible ASAP.

This is one area I am trying to stock up on. Common nuts and bolts will be very valuable if the dollar loses its value. What are you stocking up on?

Also wood screws of different length and thickness. Do not forget to get washers, lock washers for the bolts you picked!
And few wood working manual hand tools. If you got a welding machine, get bunch of rods and welding materials. Angle iron, bars, and square tubing of different sizes.

There is a severe drought in Central America. Water level is low at the Panama Canal. Only about 18 ships can pass through per day. What surprised me is they say that during a regular season, only about 35 ships pass per day. Never new that. I thought it would have been much more.
