According to the 12th Amendment such an impasse will go to the House of Representatives for resolution, not to SCOTUS. This would presumably be good news because each State’s delegation gets one vote, and there are more Republican delegations than Democrat delegations in the House.
Yes, but those republican legislatures have to vote for Trump. I do not have very much confidence in them.
Nor do I. But compared to Senators, Governors, Presidents, and assorted faceless bureaucrats, your typical Congressman is much more … reachable.
Regardless, I want to rely on peaceful options until they’re no longer available. I do have to face my Maker someday.
