Ok, where is the Law School professor who is preaching this concept ?
Before anybody swallows this claim, it might be a good idea to wait and see what other info comes out on this matter.
I am not saying this is a pie-in-the-sky fantasy, but I am saying, this has yet to be proved accurate.
You better believe that if this was true, a legion of Congress-swines and budget busting DemonicRats would be wailing and clammering for IMMEDIATE legislation and bureaucratic action to “fix the problem”.

It’s a fact do your homework! It’s because of people like you that we have allowed this, here is a hint, 16th amendment was never legally or properly Ratified. And the Supreme Court had something very interesting to say about the 16th Amendment I’m sure you won’t belive that either. The IRS is the biggest scam in the history of our country!

So you’re saying you don’t pay Federal Income Tax. The “People like you” remark holds no water if you DO! Man up, stop paying them. Let us know how that works out.

I did not say he has 27 days to declare the insurrection Act, President Trump asked members of his cabinet 63 days ago to report to him if they need him to declare a Insurrection after 90 days, but I can tell by your attitude you maybe in favor of a Insurrection ? But its pretty clear to me a insurrection is in play! It must suck being a troll.

Hey Tom if he doesn’t declare the insurrection Act with in the next 27 days then I know he’s full of it and I’ll act accordingly. I have always thought that he was a wolf in a rich man’s suit.

I’m putting your 27 days on my calendar.

And as 8 years of such comments have shown.

Nothing will happen.

Maybe Irod Folsom actually will get busy.

I follow Ann on substack.
The problem is you can’t walk back something you’ve already complied with as we have from the start. But I just hope Trump eliminate the IRS and do away the income tax. It would help so many low incomes/middle class citizens.
The Moore decision in the Supreme Court recently verified that our wages are not “income” and are not taxed

Based on the language that Trump used considering his point of view on the IRS he knows, and I believe he will abolish and return to the Constitution.

I want my money back. If they can just print money why do I need to pay taxes in the first place?

This may turn out to be the case. But if it is, and one declines to file, the IRS will still wreck you in order to steal “their” share fo your earnings. Remember, we are not a country with reliable rule of law at this point (despite whatever preliminary efforts Trump is making at restoring the rule of law), so even if the law is definitively shown not to require filing of income taxes for anyone outside DC, the IRS will likely ignore such a revelation and continue to make miserable the lives of those who followed the law only to be caught in a gotcha. The IRS still has the enforcement mechanism in place to ruin anyone it wants to, and will not hesitate to use it. Now, if Trump eliminates the IRS as he has claimed he intends to, we can all breath a bit easier.

Many here are hitting around the mark but not directly.
You Must file an income tax return, even if you do not owe.
16th amendment argument is a decoy. Has little to no effect on the issue at hand.
Federal income taxes only apply to those exercising federal privilege, meaning federal employees, military, elected officials, those companies or individuals who have government contracts. Period
If you work outside of government purview, then you do not owe federal taxes. Never have. Settled law with supreme court rulings more than once. Look it up.
Wages, Employer, and Employee all have Very Specific definitions in the IRS code. It is specific to employment at the will or benefit of the federal government, an excise tax if you will. It goes all the way back to the War of Northern Aggression. The 600 dollar number you are familiar with is in 1862 law for Union soldiers who made more than 600 a year had to pay taxes on the overage.
Likely, you are paying because of fear or not knowing or researching or whatever…….I get it. Was there once upon a time.
You are tax exempt because your earnings are not “wages” as defined in IRS Code sections 3401(a) and 3121(a).
Look it up, free yourself.

Income taxes are extracted from the peons with a gun. Don’t pay and you will have a Sig stuck up your nose. Peter Schiff’s dad died in Federal Prison for pushing this idea. You either pay the extortion or fight for your life and freedom. We the people are in worse shape now than in 1776. We need a similar remedy.

Exactly. I’ve heard this for the past 30 years. They have their bases covered. Go ahead and fight it in court and pay all those lawyers, if you can find any. Seen many that were made examples of. Until it is handled at the top level and explicitly made clear to all, then nothing changes.
