“They’re pretty much lying about everything”
Spot on Tim, as usual.
It’s all big oils fault. The 100% U.S. refinery capability is 30% than demand, but big oil won’t build new refineries. Big oil has a profit of $5bn every 10 days. A new refinery costs $5bn. Big oil exports 10mn barrels of finished fuel each month. On top of the 30% shortfall in refinery output. Big oil wants the U.S. taxpayer to pay for the Keystone XL pipeline. The pipeline is necessary to transport Chinese oil from Alberta, Canada to Texas. In order to refine the Chinese Canadian oil in Texas, we have to stop refining U.S. oil at those three refineries. Then, the Texans have to pay for docking facility upgrades so the U.S. refineries can fill Chinese tankers with Chinese fuels, paid for by U.S. taxpayers.
