That would have sounded more balanced if she had talked about ways to help some of these people, other than in a few or so generalities, such as ‘agency’, which was not elaborated on. The left-right paradigm seemed misplaced, but rather seemed offered as a thinly-veiled prop to express her position.

At some point during the ensuing chaos, you will be forced to make hard decisions about people. It took decades to brainwash these idiots. You cannot change them overnight because they do not have the power of reason or critical thinking (CRT the exception). The only critical thinking in their mind is criticism. You will not have time to dialogue when they attack. Good example -- the last 2 1/2 years.
