My first speech at the Fall PATCON concerned internal threats. This talk was developed based on events that have happened to several different groups. It also was reinforced by personal interactions in Raleigh over the past week that were unsolicited. The LEO was based in Asheville. The example with homosexuality was in central North Carolina. The “one bullet is all I need” is from everywhere. Establish your protocols today.
I want to be clear that most internal threats are not from people in groups; they are from people in close proximity to groups.

David, thank you for posting your talk on internal threats. Gave me a lot to consider. God Bless!!
Very good presentation, David. Thank you for sharing our correspondence, I’m glad it helped out. You could’ve left out the last line though…..
You said you don’t have a lot of respect for John Adams, why not?
I do not care for John Adams based on his feud with Thomas Jefferson. When Jefferson won the presidency over Adams, Adams tried to invalidate the election. Only when people surrounded the Capitol with pitchforks did he relent and Jefferson took office.
This fight formed the basis for our current two party system.
