I appreciate both New Patriot’s honesty and his in-depth explanations. This is very much a discussion of the Jews who chose to do nothing in the face of the coming Nazi roundups claiming everything was “God’s Will and God is in charge”. The church I have been attending has begun and ended its services the past few weeks with, “remember, God is in charge.” which is a counterfeit understanding of Biblical teaching designed to control and make subservient congregations. God gave human beings free will and to His children He has coupled it with full authority and dominion against evil. When we retreat into, “god is in charge”, we abdicate our responsibilities and duty as Christians. Remember that tens of thousands of clergy in America have and are contracted to FEMA for money to deliver a complicit congregation when told to do so. It is literally into the cattle cars for these congregations. Beware the pastor who lulls you into compliance by sweetly telling you that “God is in charge” and you need to just accept it.

Another thought is to use scripture to interpret scripture. Is the mark spoken of in the Old Testament? It sure is!
The Jews of John’s time would have understood. Keeping the Passover, keeping the (moral) law, and keeping the Sabbaths are God’s mark on your right hand (what you do) and forehead (what you think). There is also a literal mark, and he may be right about the jab, but by the time you take it you have already been doing the enemy’s sabbaths, keeping his holidays, and his laws. Let that soak in.

This type of scenario is what many throughout churchianity have waited for; passive to the end. Their opportunity to be a martyr through perpetual (probably spanning decades) and continual submission. Some may be getting giddy about, and perhaps believing that this is what they were called to do, and maybe it is applicable to some persons, but at this time, and at such an early stage so to speak, and without a national or local defensive response prior to, seems suspect. Why conservatives and others tolerated a nationwide church system predicated on obeying religious, and by extension, essentially all authorities is a question that must be answered. This points out why there was not in any recent times a functioning Constitution. It is completely prohibited from its effectiveness and functioning thereby, with an untrained and unschooled populace, as well to its practical application; the intellectual acumen needed in understanding its intricacies and nuances, and the teaching and training required for individuals to be dedicated to the civic duties and responsibilities that it calls for, is and has been largely impossible without it being properly taught, understood and exercised across the country. A people that refuses to build culture is at the whims of those who do, and those who will wield influence (why is it that satanists and communists are so much better at this than Christians, i.e., the Frankfurt School, the propaganda inherent to American education, politically correct and statist media, medical establishment, science, and many other mainstays of society?) and determine educational curriculums, shape and make policies, set the trends for gender and relationships, decide and direct what the economy will be comprised of, and everything else that constitutes having dominion over the earth. Going about touting that America is a Constitutional Republic and congratulating oneself over voting in such a rigged and regressive system seems and looks like delusion or hubris.
