I personally don’t believe that the power grid can be protected from a terrorist attack. By blowing up power stations and towers the grid will always be vulnerable. Yes small hit to the grid can be absorbed but a coordinated strike or strikes will take down grid areas. The grid has enough stress already and a group of the right hits will damage alot causing shut downs. His it the right part of the country will shut down government and necessary businesses.. Look at what the duratio did to the power grid in the areas damaged by the storm.
