New Desktop Clients for Windows, Mac and Ubuntu Coming
Our team has really been working hard on these desktop clients and we expect to deliver the betas to you the first week of March. They’ll have all the functionality of the web site and more:
- Faster performance than the web site
- Better compatibility for the Video and Audio calling, no ALLOW button reqd
- Support for Windows XP, 7 and 8, Mac OSX 10.6+ and Ubuntu 12.04+
They will also include a new security update that updates the SSL login security with NTRU, which will make your logins MUCH more secure than standard SSL. The current desktop clients will stop working once we push out this new login update, so there might be a week or so between working releases. Please use the web site during that period.
