We all know how sensitive that age group is and how important it is for them to be accepted by their peers. And in addition, that age group does not want their parents to get involved in any way that would cause the student embarrassment. Besides running for a position on the school board yourself (takes time), you might meet with other parents of a like mind and find books suitable for that age group that warn against that activity with a focus on the physical damage that results and the increased possibility of disease. These books could be published by a Christian company but the text should avoid any mention of religion as that could cause the books to be banned. Buy multiple copies to donate to each elementary school and insist that those books be included on the suggested reading list.

It would appear that this is posted on an open forum. this is not a legitimate post coming from the school board. Nonetheless we need to roar back to protect the youth from destructive lifestyles.
