Yes he does. I wish he would not use the f word so much. Land nav is kind of fun. I took a basic map and compass class and wish I would have done more.
Very useful info.
Land nav is super simple once you put it into practice. GPS is great until your batteries run out, or you’re in a narrow canyon or valley and can’t get a fix on multiple satellites.
Pace counters take land nav to the next level.

Yes, it is easy, most geographical maps have a pointing arrow to north, just put your compass on the map an orientate to north.
