Should we ourselves be surprised that in this day many in the church are also asleep? How many of us have also been asleep, only most recently waking up?
Because it is time for judgement to begin from the house of Alahim. And if firstly from us, what is the end of those who do not obey the besorah of Alahim?
And if the righteous one is scarcely delivered, where shall the wicked and the sinner appear? 1 Peter 4:17-18
The idea that Christ was fully God and fully man, both at the same time is a hard thing to grasp. The suffering was not diminished because He was God, although he could have stopped it at any time.
The entirety of humanity and their correct judgement, paid for by one act, by the One who must hold their justice in His Hand. God had to pronounce a verdict for sin, for disobedience and rebellion. Then He took the punishment upon Himself.
