We’ll equipped militarized police departments sounds good when the safety of the citizens are threatened. However relying on the police for your safety in the event of a life or death situation is not a good thing to do. Most good police departments want the good public to be armed (a well armed people). The problem comes when a local who has a vested interest in the community he serves is replaced by someone who doesn’t. Some (folks) have the power to appoint people in high positions in order to push an agenda like they do with superintendents of public schools or appoint judges who are aligned with an agenda. The federal government was never supposed to be more powerful than the states and the states were not supposed to be more powerful than the individual. Look at what we got now. It’s all too down and individual sovereignty has been surrendered to a global elite. Maybe I’ll become a good little slave cranking away on the gears inside the machine they created for us. Maybe I can make that wheel go around one more time and maybe that will be enough to satisfy the greedy monsters. Maybe…
