Online Intelligence Training

Guerrillamerica

Bottom Line Up Front: I’m creating online intelligence courses based on the ICAC, HUMINT, OPSEC, and Counterintelligence courses.  To roll out the Culper Institute for Intelligence & Security (CIIS), I’m offering all courses at 25% off now through August.  Use code 25GA, and as a reader you’ll get 25% off all our current courses.  On 02 September, we’ll publish IA 101: Introduction to Intelligence Analysis (which is free), and then publish at least one new course each month after that.  You can decide which courses sound interesting to you, and get quality intelligence training at a very affordable cost.  Find out more below…  You can save your seat for this intelligence training here.

One thing I’ve learned about writing is that it’s very difficult to teach anyone to do something important through writing a book or article.  A large part of the reason why we started the Culper Institute is to better facilitate the learning process because information is not knowledge and reading isn’t necessarily learning.  I can only run so many courses, and it costs a great deal of time and money for students to travel, to stay, to eat, etc.  So by doing these courses online, the plan is to fit in more knowledge and training for less money and time.  (These courses, however, cannot replace in-person training.  This is just a workable solution to a critical problem.)

I sat down and thought, “If I had to teach a team of burgeoning intelligence analysts ten skills and send them on their way, what would I teach them?”
