Gowdy Sells Out

1. The assertion that Trump wanted to know if anyone in his campaign was involved in collusion with Russia was a year after the fact. Why didn’t they tell him that one or more spies were monitoring his campaign when they actually started?

2. Why didn’t the FBI and other intelligence agencies monitor the Clinton campaign?

3. Gowdy’s assertion that Trump will be happy when he has all of the facts is absolute nonsense. The President has complete authority over all federal law enforcement agencies. He can see or declassify anything as part of his Constitutional authority.

What a disappointment Mr. Gowdy has become. What do you call someone who has so little respect for the American people?

Caged Migrant Children Photo Goes Viral As Left Rages At Trump; Except It Happened Under Obama

A photograph of two migrant children sleeping in a cage at an ICE detention facility quickly went viral on Sunday after several prominent liberals tweeted it in a white-hot rage at President Trump’s immigration policy.

After a laundry list of journalists and public figures angrily tweeted the photo – including CNN’s Hadas Gold, NYT Mag’s editor-in-chief Jake Silverstein, Obama speechwriter Jon Favreau and former LA mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, they deleted their tweets in shame when it emerged that the photo was taken in 2014, under Obama.

Indeed – nobody thought to check the date on the attached article, published in June of 2014.

The award for the lamest excuse goes to CNN’s Hadas Gold, who wrote “Deleted previous tweet because gave impression of recent photos (they’re from 2014)”

7 Killed in Memorial Day Weekend Shootings in Chicago

In Memoriam, 2018, by Robert Gore

This article was first posted on Straight Line Logic on Memorial Day, 2015. It will be published every Memorial Day for as long as SLL continues as a website.

You don’t fight for your country, you fight for your government.

The Golden Pinnacle, by Robert Gore

On Memorial Day, America remembers and honors those who died while serving in the military. It is altogether fitting and proper to ask: for what did they die? Do the rationales offered by the military and government officials who decide when and how the US will go to war, and embraced by the public, particularly those who lose loved ones, stand up to scrutiny and analysis? Some will recoil, claiming it inappropriate on a day devoted to honoring the dead. However, it is because war is a matter of life and death, for members of the military and, inevitably, civilians, that its putative justifications be subject to the strictest tests of truth and the most probing of analyses.

Millions have marched off to war believing they were defending the US, which implies the US was under attack. Yet, setting aside for a moment Pearl Harbor and 9/11, US territory hasn’t been invaded by a foreign power since the Mexican-American War (arguably—Mexico claimed the territory it “invaded” was part of Mexico), or, if the Confederacy is considered a foreign power, the Civil War. That war ended a century-and-a-half ago, yet every US military involvement since has been justified as a defense of the US. That has gradually attenuated, in a little noted slide, to a defense of US “interests,” which is something far different.

North Carolina Needs Your help!

Please make sure you write letters to North Carolina, if you haven’t written in the past week or so. I’ll be blasting about once every week or 10 days for those States– so please keep blasting them with different thoughts. It worked in Iowa, and 2018 has been sweet so far. We don’t need COSP gloating. They’re bad enough when they have nothing to brag about!

The purpose of this blast is to update you and bring your attention to a couple of new articles/cartoons.

Convention of States Project:

COSP has added no states yet in 2018 and hasn’t added one state since May 12, 2017 (MO).They have a total of 12.Their best prospects are NC and MI. They’ve failed in 17 states so far in 2018: HI, IA, ID, KS, KY, MD, MN, MS, NE, NH, SC, SD, UT, VT, WA, WV, WY.

Balanced Budget Amendment Task Force:

BBATF has added no states in 2018, and we don’t see any prospects for them for the rest of the year. The last state they added was on Nov. 7, 2017 (WI). They have a total of 28. They’ve failed in 6 states in 2018:  KY, ME, MS, SC, VA, WA.

Wolf-PAC:

So far, Wolf-PAC has added no states in 2018. Their best prospect is Massachusetts. WP has failed to add a state since June 17, 2016 (RI). They have a total of 5. Fourteen States declined to pass Wolf-PAC in 2018:  CO, HI, IA, LA, MD, ME, MO, NE, NM, OK, SC, WA, WI, WV

Term Limits USA:

So far, TML added 2 states in 2018 (AL and MO), making a grand total of 3. But that doesn’t matter because those states have already passed the COSP and BBA applications. So far in 2018, these 9 States declined to pass the TML application: AZ, GA, MD, ME, MS, NH, SC, TN, VT

Compact for America:

CFA seems to be dying a long overdue death.  By passing CFA’s legislation, states are actually pre-ratifying an amendment to the US Constitution which authorizes Congress to impose a national sales tax and a national value added tax, in addition to keeping (and increasing) the income tax.  CFA’s new taxes amendment has been ratified in 5 states.  During 2018, CFA filed in only one state (OK), where they failed.

Categories of AVC Applications (i.e. COSP, BBA, WP, TML, etc.):

Remember- no one is limited by the bogus restrictions set forth in the applications.  It doesn’t matter what the ostensible purpose of the application is, Congress has the power to count the applications any way they want; and the Delegates can ignore the pretended restrictions in the applications and do whatever they want at the convention.   At the federal “amendments” convention of 1787, the Delegates ignored their instructions from the Continental Congress and their States and wrote a new Constitution which created a new government.

It is probable that the underlying purpose of the different forms of applications is to create the false belief in the minds of Americans that the Delegates to an Article V convention can be limited by the wording of the applications from the States.  But that is a Big Lie.

Important DEL bills sponsored by COSP:

Here are the states where COSP failed to pass important Delegate bills in 2018: NE, TN, VA, WV.  VA’s and TN’s bills created new gimmicks and would have been used as model legislation throughout the country had they passed; and NE’s and WV’s bills were prioritized above COSP applications to facilitate COSP’s passage at a later time. Hah!

Here are two recent articles that you may want to use in letters where appropriate. And attached is Bliss’s latest cartoon (Lynette’s idea) plus a picture and meme.

Here is Publius’s latest article Honest discourse about an Article V convention needed.

And mine: “Meckler tells legislators what they need to hear to get what he wants.”

Thank you for all your letters! Thanks to a big team effort, we’ve had a great year! There are only about 10 states still in session, and most of those don’t look like anything is moving. But North Carolina needs your help!

How I View America

“I am in a country that is not free… I feel jealous as hell of you guys in America. You don’t know how lucky you are.” — Carl Benjamin (aka Sargon of Akkad), YouTuber with around a million subscribers.

Luck had nothing to do with the price paid for freedom in America. The blood and treasure that bought our freedom from British tyranny was dear as Thomas Paine wrote:

“What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly: it is dearness only that gives every thing its value. Heaven knows how to put a proper price upon its goods; and it would be strange indeed if so celestial an article as freedom should not be highly rated.”

― Thomas Paine, The American Crisis

It is not our responsibility to interfere in other governments’ affairs. Or their people. This was a well established tenet from our founding fathers. I feel sorry that the British people are unarmed and have to live under tyranny. But whose fault is that? The same could be said for any country that the United States is interfering and/or supporting instead of letting them earn their own freedom so that they can cherish it.

The real point for us to consider is whether we understand the value of Liberty and the price that was paid. We are in the midst of a civil war right now. Here is an excellent article detailing what we do not want to admit:

ARE WE IN A CIVIL WAR?

How do civil wars happen?

Two or more sides disagree on who runs the country. And they can’t settle the question through elections because they don’t even agree that elections are how you decide who’s in charge.  That’s the basic issue here. Who decides who runs the country? When you hate each other but accept the election results, you have a country. When you stop accepting election results, you have a countdown to a civil war.

The Mueller investigation is about removing President Trump from office and overturning the results of an election. We all know that. But it’s not the first time they’ve done this. The first time a Republican president was elected this century, they said he didn’t really win. The Supreme Court gave him the election. There’s a pattern here.

What I know:

  1. The enemy is the large portion of the federal government with the label “The Deep State”.
  2. The 2nd Amendment is the reason that the government has not been completely overthrown by the Deep State.
  3. The Deep State wants to limit and eventually remove the 2nd Amendment.
  4. The outcome of this war is unknown: do not be deceived that good will always overcome.
  5. If we win, the Deep State will enact “insurance policies” to inflict maximum damage.
  6. Our children have become tools for the state through government sponsored indoctrination.
  7. People do not value the blood of our military: past or present.
  8. People do not have the faith and morality to hold a Republic.
  9. Our “political elite” continue to hold to the false premise that we are a Democracy instead of a Republic.
  10. Unless we fight, we do not deserve the rights and Liberty that are quickly slipping away.

Ebola Update, Ignorance and Misdirection

One cause leading up to a worldwide Ebola pandemic is ignorance. The Republic of Congo is over 80% Christian. Their faith overrode their common sense which will have severe consequences. Ebola, volcanoes and other media misdirection will only serve to distract us from what is important. The financial markets, European Union, Syria, Turkey, Russia, China, North Korea, Brazil, Venezuela, European Muslim invasion and the Deep State usurpation are more than enough to capture our undivided attention.

Ebola Breach: Vomiting Patients “In Active Phase” Smuggled Out Of Quarantine, Die Within Hours

On Thursday, Dr. Jean-Clement Cabrol of Doctors Without Borders revealed that two vomiting patients “in the active phase of the disease” were smuggled out of quarantine on Monday, put on motorcycles, and taken to a prayer meeting with 50 people – where they died hours later.

“The escape was organised by the families, with six motorcycles as the patients were very ill and couldn’t walk,” Cabrol said at a news briefing in Geneva after returning from the affected region.

They were taken to a prayer room with 50 people to pray. They were found at two in the morning, one of them dead and one was dyingSo that’s 50-60 contacts right there. The patients were in the active phase of the disease, vomiting.”

See What Happens When the People Cannot Defend Themselves

This is the real reason for the 2nd Amendment. Our founding fathers understood that their only defense against a tyrannical British government was an armed rebellion. They also knew that any government would evolve into tyranny given a complacent and unprotected people. The 2nd Amendment is their protection against governmental abuse of power. Why do you think the government is trying so hard to limit this protection?
