Judicial Watch: Documents Reveal Obama State Department Provided Classified Records to Sen. Ben Cardin to Undermine President Trump

Judicial Watch today released 42 pages of heavily redacted State Department documents containing classified information that was provided to Senator Ben Cardin (D-MD), top Democrat on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and outspoken critic of President Donald Trump. The documents show Russian political interference in elections and politics in countries across Europe.

According to a March 2017 report in the Baltimore Sun: “Maryland Sen. Ben Cardin received classified information about Russia’s involvement in elections when the Obama administration was attempting to disseminate that material widely across the government in order to aid in future investigations, according to a report Wednesday … Obama officials were concerned, according to the report [in The New York Times, below], that the Trump administration would cover up intelligence once power changed hands.”

FBI Director Wray “Shocked To His Core” By FISA Memo

Carter: What we know tonight is that FBI Director Christopher Wray went Sunday and reviewed the four-page FISA memo. The very next day, Andrew McCabe was asked to resign. Remember Sean, he was planning on resigning in March – that already came out in December. This time they asked him to go right away. You’re not coming into the office. I’ve heard rep[orts he didn’t even come in for the morning meeting – that he didn’t show up.

Hannity: A source of mine told me tonight that when Wray read this, it shocked him to his core.

Sara Carter: Shocked him to his core, and not only that, the Inspector General’s report – I have been told tonight by a number of sources, there’s indicators right now that McCabe may have asked FBI agents to actually change their 302’s – those are their interviews with witnesses. So basically every time an FBI agent interviews a witness, they have to go back and file a report.

Hannity: Changes? So that would be obstruction of justice?

Carter: Exactly. This is something the Inspector General is investigating. If this is true and not alleged, McCabe will be fired. I heard they are considering firing him within the next few days if this turns out to be true.

President Trump has announced he will speak with Robert Mueller under oath. He’s waving the victory flag. By allowing Mueller’s probe to proceed despite substantial irregularities and bias that would have justified a “You’re Fired!”, Trump has decisively faced down the opposition. The tables are turned and they’ll be on the run for years. If he does talk to Mueller (and he says that’s subject to his lawyers) it will be an exclamation point on Trump’s repeated contentions that there’s nothing to the Russiagate investigation.

Having vanquished the foes he could vanquish, Trump faces an enemy he has little hope of defeating: the economics of empire. It’s felled countless regimes. Empires always take more energy and resources to maintain than what they can steal from their subjugated provinces. They incur debts they can’t repay and levy crushing taxes. Then they collapse.

At its zenith after World War II, the US provided Europe’s defense against the threat of Soviet invasion. In exchange, behind the veneer of sovereign states, elections, and other trappings of democracy, the US ran Europe.

Photographer Admits Burying Picture He Took of Obama With Farrakhan for Fear of Hurting Obama’s Political Career

A journalist admitted last week to keeping a picture he took of then-Sen. Barack Obama and Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan in 2005 under wraps for fear of hurting the former’s political career.

Askia Muhammad took the photo of Obama and the controversial activist while the future president met with the Congressional Black Caucus. Muhammad told Talking Points Memo that a CBC staffer contacted him in a “panic” at the time over what the photo could do to Obama’s political ambitions.

Asked if he felt the picture would have made a difference in Obama’s 2008 run for the presidency, Muhammad said, “It absolutely would have made a difference.”

Of Patriots and Ethnic Nationalists

I have been a long time reader and occasional commentator on a wide variety of right-wing web sites since the mid 1990s. The first, and for a long time the largest right-wing forums were run for, and populated by. self-described “patriots”.   These people self-identified with the US flag, the US Constitution, the US military, US history and the disappearing Mayberry America of a bygone era.

After a while, and in response to the continued misbehavior of the Federal government at the Waco and Ruby Ridge atrocities, a more radical subset of the patriot right came into existence, and created their own sites.  The “Three Percent” or “Threeper” sites were some of the first supporting this tendency.  The long-running Western Rifle Shooters Association(WRSA) has became,  over time,  home-base for the “armed patriot” right faction, in the same way that Free Republic has long been the home for the less militant patriots.

A lot of emphasis at WRSA has always been put on military training, building skill in arms, self-sufficiency and prepping for the “Shit Hit The Fan” moment many see in the future.  A popular motto seen frequently on WRSA nicely encapsulates the difference in emphasis between the “armed patriots” and the more politically oriented participants on Free Republic: “we aren’t going to vote our way out of this”.

Judicial Watch uncovered docs showing #AndrewMcCabe‘s wife was recruited for a Virginia state senate race by now-Gov. Ralph Northam, that his wife received ~$700,000 in campaign contributions from Clinton allies, & that McCabe used FBI email to promote her candidacy.

The documents also show repeated use of the official FBI email system in connection with Mrs. McCabe’s political campaign. For example:

  • On March 13, 2015, Mrs. McCabe emails to her husband’s official FBI email account a draft press release announcing her run for state Senate.
  • In August 2015, McCabe uses his official FBI email account to advise a redacted recipient to visit his wife’s campaign website: “Jill has been busy as hell since she decided to run for VA state senate (long story). Check her out on Facebook as Dr. Jill McCabe for Senate.”
  • On November 2, 2015, Mrs. McCabe forwards an email to her husband – then the Assistant Director in Charge of the FBI’s Washington Office – that accuses her opponent of extorting local businessmen. The email was sent to her husband’s official FBI account.

By definition, “Wilderness Medicine” is based on the concepts of emergency medical help when separated from definitive care by distance, time, or other circumstances.  That situation could easily be the backcountry, another snowpocalypse, civil unrest, or an active shooter incident; all situations in which medical help may not be readily available.

Wilderness Medicine is training in emergency first aid for people who aren’t professionals and forms the basis of our tactical medic program.  The training consists of an informal meet and greet on Friday evening followed by two days of lecture, discussion, hands-on, and scenario-based skills practice.

Our goal is to provide you with an assessment process that is simple, easy to understand, and one that does not require you to purchase everything from an ER catalog.  Rather, the class provides you with a roadmap to address life-threatening injuries in the proper order and one that ensures the best possible outcome for both yourself and your patient.

All courses are taught by professional educators and experienced medical providers who will work to make sure that you leave class with the information and skills needed to react with confidence.   Learn to respond to medical emergencies, treat injuries and illnesses, and improvise solutions in a high-risk low-resource environment.

The cost of the course is $250 individually or $200 each as a couple.  Advanced, full-payment is required to reserve a seat in class.  Due to limited class enrollment, payment is non-refundable and rescheduling will be allowed for the next available class only if space is available.  Cancellation on the day of the class is considered a “no show.”
