Voting In Favor of “Breaks It”

UK voters stunned the world by shaking things up with their vote for “Brexit.” Here in the United States, we’ll soon be given the opportunity to vote for Donald Trump – and we think the odds are that if he’s given control of our government, he breaks it.

And we’re all for it.

This isn’t exactly a ringing endorsement of Donald Trump, whom we still think is a loudmouthed boob with sketchy, unworkable ideas and nary a conservative bone in his body. Rather, this isHope n’ Change’s declaration of complete and utter revulsion at everything going on in our government, and our long withheld belief that Donald Trump could not possibly – even incomplete and utter failure – be as bad for our nation as Hillary Clinton and a continuation of the current insidious, invidious, incestuous anti-American status quo which has rendered our government a dysfunctional mess.

Forces at the Doorstep of ISIS’ Apocalyptic Battlefield Dabiq

A dramatic development in the fight against the Islamic State is being overshadowed by the capturing of Fallujah by Iran-backed Iraqi forces. While attention is focused on upcoming offensives against Mosul and Raqqa, Syrian rebel forces (including Al-Qaeda) are on the doorstep of Dabiq, the centerpiece of ISIS’ apocalyptic ideology and arguably the most important piece of land to the group.

If you look at the picture below from a Syrian civil war map, you’ll see that there’s a straight shot to the capital of the Islamic State in Raqqa (colored in grey) by the U.S.-backed Syrian Democratic Forces, a coalition of Kurdish, Assyrian Christian and Sunni Arab rebels.

The Western media is fixated on Raqqa as the big prize because we’re still thinking in terms of conventional warfare but, for the Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL), the only thing special about Raqqa is that it was a good spot to set up its headquarters. Its loss would be a major contribution towards undercutting ISIS’ claims that Allah is delivering rewarding it with success, but the land itself has no unique ideological value for them.

The ideological linchpin of the ISIS caliphate is Dabiq, a small town in northwestern Syria. The town’s centrality to the ISIS’ ideological legitimacy is apparent in that it is the name of its English-language magazine and every issue references prophecies about it.

Law Enforcement Sources: Gun Used in Paris Terrorist Attacks Came from Phoenix

One of the guns used in the November 13, 2015 Paris terrorist attacks came from Phoenix, Arizona where the Obama administration allowed criminals to buy thousands of weapons illegally in a deadly and futile “gun-walking” operation known as “Fast and Furious.”

A Report of Investigation (ROI) filed by a case agent in the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco Firearms and Explosives (ATF) tracked the gun used in the Paris attacks to a Phoenix gun owner who sold it illegally, “off book,” Judicial Watch’s law enforcement sources confirm. Federal agents tracing the firearm also found the Phoenix gun owner to be in possession of an unregistered fully automatic weapon, according to law enforcement officials with firsthand knowledge of the investigation.

The investigative follow up of the Paris weapon consisted of tracking a paper trail using a 4473 form, which documents a gun’s ownership history by, among other things, using serial numbers. The Phoenix gun owner that the weapon was traced back to was found to have at least two federal firearms violations—for selling one weapon illegally and possessing an unregistered automatic—but no enforcement or prosecutorial action was taken against the individual. Instead, ATF leaders went out of their way to keep the information under the radar and ensure that the gun owner’s identity was “kept quiet,” according to law enforcement sources involved with the case. “Agents were told, in the process of taking the fully auto, not to anger the seller to prevent him from going public,” a veteran law enforcement official told Judicial Watch.

Russia to release Clinton emails?

Russian President Vladimir Putin meets with Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic

by Bill Gertz

U.S. intelligence agencies are said to be closely watching Russian online blogs and other postings for any signs that Moscow hackers have covertly obtained the bulk of Hillary Clinton’s email messages stolen from her private email server and are preparing to make them public.

A U.S. intelligence official told Inside the Ring that the indications of the email release are being closely watched, although the veracity of at least two postings on the matter could not be confirmed as authoritative.

A State Department official has said Russia is one of at least three foreign governments likely to have obtained the full content of the former secretary of state’s server through covert hacking operations. The other two are China and Israel.

Russian intelligence agencies are suspected of cyberintrusions that obtained sensitive political information contained in Democratic National Committee networks. Last week, reports surfaced that computer networks of the Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton Foundation were also compromised, also by Russian hackers.

8 Best Quotes From Clarence Thomas’s Texas Abortion Dissent

8 Best Quotes From Clarence Thomas’s Texas Abortion Dissent

  1. “As the Court applies whatever standard it likes to any given case, nothing but empty words separates our constitutional decisions from judicial fiat.”
  2. “The Court has simultaneously transformed judicially created rights like the right to abortion into preferred constitutional rights, while disfavoring many of the rights actually enumerated in the Constitution. But our Constitution renounces the notion that some constitutional rights are more equal than others. A plaintiff either possesses the constitutional right he is asserting, or not—and if not, the judiciary has no business creating ad hoc exceptions so that others can assert rights that seem especially important to vindicate. A law either infringes a constitutional right, or not; there is no room for the judiciary to invent tolerable degrees of encroachment.”

I wonder what would happen if everyone was required to read and understand these quotes from Justice Thomas?

The judicial branch has usurped the legislative authority from Congress. The executive branch has usurped power from Congress. In effect, one elected official with the power to appoint justices now rules. The question is simple: what good is Congress?
