The North Carolina Republican Party’s first black state chairman was removed from his post Saturday, the culmination of months of conflict with other party leaders who recently censured him for exceeding his authority.

Members of the party’s executive committee found Hasan Harnett responsible for violating organizational rules and committing acts of “gross inefficiency.” Roughly 280 committee members attended the private, trial-like meeting in Raleigh that lasted several hours, participants said. Later on Saturday, more than the two-thirds of members required to throw out Mr. Harnett voted to do so.

Mr. Harnett was out of the country Saturday on a previously announced business trip, according to ally Daniel Rufty, chairman of the party’s 12th Congressional District.

With anti-establishmentarians on the rise in the US & Europe, it appears the neocons and their NATO proxy aren’t wasting any time and are stepping up not just the words, but their deeds, against a so-called “resurgent Russia.” NATO’s European Command (EUCOM) “needs to change,” blasts General Philip Breedlove, urging the military to get back to the business of war planning, a skill lost during the post-Cold War era saying his objective is to send a signal of deterrence to Russia. That signal was heard loud and clear as NATO is deploying an additional four battalions of 4,000 troops to the Russian border in Poland and the three Baltic States, according to a report citing US Deputy Secretary of Defense Robert Work.

“We have to be ready for a situation where we don’t have Russia as a partner,” warns EUCOM  Gen. Philip Breedlove, adding that the military here needs to get back to the business of war planning, a skill lost during the post-Cold War era and one needed again in the face of a resurgent Russia. As Military.com reports,

On Tuesday, Breedlove will walk a final time across the parade ground at EUCOM headquarters, handing off leadership of more than 60,000 troops to Gen. Curtis M. Scaparrotti.

Unlike when Breedlove assumed command in 2013, Scaparrotti arrives at a time of upheaval as the continent contends with Cold War-like tensions with Russia, a refugee crisis tearing at Europe’s social fabric, and increased fears about terrorism because of war along NATO’s southern flank.

OBAMA SEEKS TO RESTRICT 2nd AMENDMENT RIGHTS FOR SENIORS

IMPORTANT!!

On Friday the Social Security Administration (SSA) released a draft of proposed rulemaking that would supposedly bring the agency into compliance with what it claims is its responsibility to report prohibited persons to the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS).
This plan would ultimately strip seniors of their 2nd Amendment rights. Any senior whose retirement funds, including Social Security Benefits, are managed by someone else on their behalf. For example, you’re retired and traveling the world or just visiting your favorite National Park in your motor home and have asked your children to pay your bills in your absence. This could trigger the Social Security Administration (SSA) alerting authorities to revoke your permit to own and/or carry a gun.
Additionally, if you are impaired, however temporarily, a similar alert would be sent and your 2nd Amendment right could be nullified.

FREEMANSPERSPECTIVE

Every time I write one of these pieces, a certain number of people freak out, and often quite vocally. But it’s a huge mistake to define ourselves by what we’re against, and darkness is not all that exists in the world.

And we are magnificent creatures. I want my writing to help humans realize that this is true, and to start acting on it. Decrying what is wrong has a place, but a limited place: that of warning good people to avoid it.

The focus on evil is massively overdone. We are inundated with all that is bad in the world: News broadcasts are fully dedicated to nothing else, politicians are dedicated to nothing else, and the very existence of contemporary governance is predicated on “keeping fear alive.”

But all of that is degrading, distracting, and devolutionary. Sure, evil exists, but the truth about evil is that it’s small and weak (stay tuned next week). It’s time to stop devoting the whole of our lives to it.

Who Is “We”?

Since I’m saying, “We are great,” and since I’m expecting a lot of instinctive objections to the concept, I should define the term.

“We” refers to productive humans. And there are billions of us. We are the majority. Our big problem is we’ve been conditioned to think that darkness and destruction lurk for us on every corner and that nonproductive people are our natural superiors. But those are lies. We are superior to the willfully unproductive.

And yes, in this article, I’m completely ignoring murderers, criminals, and the various dependent classes. They don’t define me, and they shouldn’t determine the shape of your mind either.

The anonymously-funded, national smear campaign led by the Human Rights Campaign is grossly misrepresenting information about the petitions delivered to State Capitol today. Contrary to the media reports, the activists only delivered enough petitions to fill two boxes and the overwhelming majority of signatures were from out-of-state. The stacks on the right in each photo consists of out-of-state signatures.

There is a reason that I decided to name this site North Carolina Renegade. Tonight I was reminded of that reason. At a question and answer session, a member of the audience asked about the militia. The speaker quickly dismissed the dreaded “M” word. I doubt that there has been no word more misrepresented than militia by the government, media and even patriots who are quick to point out that they are not part of the militia.

So let me point out two facts:

1. “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” No twenty-seven words have caused more propaganda and fear than the 2nd Amendment. There is a reason for this fear by the government: the 2nd amendment is necessary for the security of a free State from the federal government. As much as people misrepresent this simple fact, it does not change the reason of our forefathers’ intent to protect us from the newly formed Constitutional government after suffering the abuses of the British government.
2. Federal law mandates the compulsory requirement for all able bodied men between 17 and 45 years to be part of the militia.
   

   10 U.S. Code § 311 – Militia: composition and classes

   (a) The militia of the United States consists of all able-bodied males at least 17 years of age and, except as provided in section 313 of title 32, under 45 years of age who are, or who have made a declaration of intention to become, citizens of the United States and of female citizens of the United States who are members of the National Guard.

   (b) The classes of the militia are—

      (1) the organized militia, which consists of the National Guard and the Naval Militia; and

      (2) the unorganized militia, which consists of the members of the militia who are not members of the National Guard or the Naval Militia.

If people want to distance themselves from the best mechanism that our founding fathers gave us to secure our freedom, that is their right. As is my right to call these people ignorant, cowards or both. War is coming. The elites believe we are nothing more than expendable fodder. I believe that most people will meet their expectations.

The Civil War, as it’s known in the north, or the War of Northern Aggression, as it’s known in the south, supposedly “settled” an issue for time and all eternity: that the smaller political units known as states could not leave the larger political unit known as the United States, at least not without the larger unit’s consent. Unless they emigrate, 320 million people are bound to a political arrangement from which there is no other escape hatch, and the 50 states don’t have the option to leave. Similar strictures are in effect around the world. Why?

Centralization, command, and control—the tendencies that defined the twentieth centuries—are in their death throes, done in by their failures and the residual progress they’ve failed to kill. The signs are everywhere. If war is the health of the state, then states are sickly indeed. The most militaristic government on the planet, that of the United States, has not cleanly won a war since 1945, unless one wants to call Grenada a war. What has stymied the US has not been superior military force—the US has the world’s biggest arsenal and most technologically advanced military—but the force that is stymying centralization at every turn: decentralization.

• The Ottoman Empire “was driven more than anything, by invention. Its mathematicians created the algebra and algorithms that would enable the building of computers, and the creation of encryption.”  
• And: America’s technology industry “would not exist without the contributions of Arab mathematicians.”
