Obama’s Legacy, In His Own Words: “I Saved The World From A Great Depression”

As part of his World Apology Tour visit to Britain, President Obama took time to answer questions from London students. When asked about his presidential legacy, Obama said he was proud of the healthcare reforms, and added that:

“saving the world from a Great Depression – that was quite good.”

Defending the sheer arrogance (and ignorance) of such a statement, he added, “I’m proud; I think I’ve been true to myself during this process.” Truth must have a different meaning where he comes from, but of course, anyone doubting the truthiness of such a statement was hacked down to size with the now ubiquitous “Don’t give up and succumb to cynics.”

You have nothing to fear World but the reality itself hiding behind all this smoke and these mirrors.

Perhaps what President Obama meant to say was:

“saving the world’s stock markets from a great depression – that was pretty good”…

If this is what “saving” the world looks like (near 40-year lows in employment participation), we would hate to see what it would have looked like otherwise…

Narcissism has been transformed into megalomania. If the pResident really believes that he saved the world’s stock markets from a great depression, the country is in even greater danger than we have previously suspected. What does this say about the rest of the “government’s checks and balances”?

In the Market for Fetal Body Parts, a Baby’s Brain Sells for $3,340

Republicans on the special House panel investigating the transfer of fetal tissue from aborted babies will present evidence in a hearing today that breaks down the price per body part.

With release of this evidence, Republicans say, they have enough documentation to show that several abortion clinics and middleman procurement businesses may have violated federal law.

“It is just horrifying,” Rep. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., who leads the House’s investigation of the fetal tissue industry, told The Daily Signal. “They are putting a dollar value on these organs from these children—unborn children that have been aborted. It is just beyond belief.”

RETURN NORTH CAROLINA FARM UNJUSTLY SEIZED BACK TO BLACK FARMER

TO: USDA SECRETARY OF AGRICULTURE TOM VILSACK

We understand the entire process that Farmer Eddie Wise endured with Farm Services Agency was and continues to be highly problematic and a potential threat to small and Black farmers everywhere. We, the undersigned, thus demand:
1. Return Farmer Eddie Wise and Dorothy Wise’s farm to them immediately.
2. Halt all proceedings around the auctioning of their farm (scheduled for April of this year).
3. Conduct a FULL independent investigation to uncover how Mr. Wise’s case escalated so rapidly and so unjustly and investigate how Mr. Wise was forcibly removed.
4. Ensure that all measures are taken to protect small farmers so no other farmer will be treated as violently, inhumanely and unjustly as Mr. Wise.

Why is this important?

We are very concerned what appears to be a glaring and very violent assault on small farmers, Black farmers, and the right to self-determination in this country, via the recent seizure of North Carolina Farmer Eddie Wise’s land. On Wednesday, January 20, 2016, around 7:30 a.m., at least fourteen (14) Federal Marshals in full military gear with full-scale military guns drawn, along with several county sheriff officers, descended on the 106 acre farm in Nash County, NC, and forcibly escorted Eddie Wise and his wife, who was still in bed and suffers from a debilitating medical condition, out of their home and off the land that they have owned for more than 20 years.

Reportedly, farmer Eddie Wise had been working on his loan with Farm Service Agency (FSA) until Farm Services Agent Paula F. Nicholls and Mike Huskie took over his case. Not soon after, Mr. Wise’s loan increased and sky rocketed to almost $60,000 more within only a month’s span of time, thus lending to an escalated foreclosure process and, the seizure of property and an incredible number of subsequent questions and outrage from people all across the country.

After three decades of internecine war, Abdul-Aziz bin Saud, allied with the fundamentalist Wahhabist Islamic sect, consolidated the House of Saud’s dominance over Arabia in 1932 with the tacit support of regional imperial power Great Britain. The bedrock of the Saudi Arabian economy, the massive pool of oil in the Al-Hasa region along the Persian Gulf coast, was discovered in 1938 and development began in 1941. Towards the end of World War II, President Roosevelt and Abdul-Aziz reached a handshake deal that has governed relations between the two nations ever since: Saudi Arabia would guarantee the flow of oil to the US at a reasonable price; the US would protect the Saud regime.

Like so many born into wealth, the House of Saud has mistaken fortuitous circumstances for divine favor, haughtily condescending to a world that goes along with its pretensions because of its oil. Saudi Arabia is dependent for its security and armaments on the west, particularly the US. No particular skill is necessary to extract (its reserves are among the world’s shallowest and easiest to tap), transport, or export its oil. It exports most of its oil because it has little industry, although its riches have made it a financial center and funded one of the world’s most generous welfare states. Much of the actual labor is performed by immigrants. The partial diversion of oil revenues has kept the non-House of Saud population pacified.

Trump 2016: Make America Go Away

trump_2016

When the patient has no hope, we enter palliative care. Sedatives and painkillers abound. Food and water are withdrawn, to allow the body to exit with grace. When that moves too slowly, ever-increasing doses of morphine are administered. At some point, the soul flies away and the gasping corpse returns to the earth.

We are at that point with America (and come to think of it, Europe, too).

These were groups of people, but they were replaced by governments — by their own hands, I might add. The politicians offered benefits like merchants offer discounts, and We The People leapt for the freebie. Then they found out that the cost was the creation of a USSR-style permanent bureaucracy that determined who would succeed and who would fail on the basis of ideology.

America was designed around the idea that democracy could be constrained by rules on paper. If we cannot have the best leading us, we can plan for an average equal robot-citizen to take the role, and put enough rules in there to keep him from doing damage. Or could we? The history of America shows that this approach has failed.

It is time to put the dying beast out of its misery. Its purpose long ago destroyed, it survives from lack of anything else to do. But having no direction, it merely lingers in boredom and complaint to the point that it does not even fear death. This is not life; it is living death. Release it!

Government is not the nation. The nation is the nation: the people, their genetics, their culture and values. In saner times, we avoided government and had kings instead, people drawn from the nation who showed the best of its traits, and could lead it to excellence. But that hurt snowflake feelings: not everyone can be excellent.

It took them almost two centuries, but in 1968 the destroyers won. They did not want a nation. They wanted a jobs program with some kind of talking competition in which unexceptional people could become important just for destroying things and justifying it in creative ways.

At that point, America the organism died, and was replaced by Amerika the zombie-robot-ideology. Ever since that time, it has been miserable to live here. Jobs have replaced purpose, politics has replaced thinking, and a string of foreigners have replaced the people.

Mr. Trump, please do the right thing. Put this terminal patient to rest. Shoot it in the head. Declare a world war for transgender rights and ensure that the governments of USA and the EU perish in flames so that we do not have to watch the long slow decay to Brazil 2.0. Ruin government, so we can rebuild.

The remnant is out here. But they are paralyzed until the power falls. Burn it down, tear it down. Make America Go Away (MAGA). Send the EU to the fires of Hades. Smash all that is rotten and dead, and cover the earth in ash so something new can grow.

Anything is better than this.  Continue reading

North Korea appears to fire submarine-launched missile

Kim Jong-un (Associated Press)

North Korea on Saturday fired what appeared to be a ballistic missile from a submarine off its northeast coast, South Korea’s Defense Ministry said.

The ministry could not immediately confirm how far the projectile flew or where it landed. The launch took place near the North Korean coastal town of Sinpo, where analysts have previously detected efforts by the North to develop submarine-launched ballistic missile systems.

Trump’s trump card

Those of us who watch cable news are under a constant barrage of people opining as to whether Donald Trump will get the magic 1,237 delegates that he needs by the time that the Republican convention convenes. He currently has about 880, or about seventy percent of the delegates he needs.

With his win in New York, Mr. Trump effectively made it impossible for Senator Cruz to gain the number of delegates needed. Governor Kasich had been mathematically eliminated before the New York primary. When the math indicated that Kasich could not win, Senator Cruz encouraged him to withdraw. Now that the math indicates he can’t win, he is talking out of the other side of his mouth. The reality is that, at this point, both Cruz and Kasich are holding on in hopes of a convention revolt against Trump.

Unless the leadership of the Republican Party are complete idiots or want Hillary Clinton as the next president, they must coalesce with Donald Trump. This will be a bitter pill for some to swallow, and, yes he perhaps cannot win in the general election, but, Ted Cruz certainly can’t win.

Mr. Trump will win the lion’s share of the delegates in the primaries which remain in the northeastern region. I have lived and worked in the northeast and by and large the people are different there – not better or worse – just different. When one goes into a restaurant for an evening meal in Pittsburg, Wilmington, or Providence, amongst other cities, one will typically see an entire family sitting around the table with adults drinking a beer or mixed drink. This is not the typical behavior of Southern Baptists and other evangelicals in the south who abhor, at least publically, the consumption of alcohol – especially with children present. Also, the views on social issues are light years apart between northeasterners and southerners. For these reasons, Senator Cruz is about as popular in the northeast as grandma’s tapioca pudding.

This Is How FEMA Trains Texas Police To Deal With Riots, Conduct Mass Arrests

Last summer the state of Texas was ablaze over concerns surrounding the Jade Helm military drills held across the state prompted some to speculate that the Federal government was preparing for either a local insurrection, secession planning contingencies for the Lone Star state or even a “Texas takeover.”

Similar confusion returned earlier this week when dozens of McLennan Community College students posed as unruly protesters as part of a Federal Emergency Management Agency training program. This “first of its kind” three day exercise in Waco, Texas was overseen by the Department of Homeland Security, during which police officers from fifteen different departments took part in drills on how to deal with riots and conduct mass arrests.”

Muslim migrants shouting in London “This is our country now, GET OUT!”

h/t Mike F

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
What will you do when this happens in our country?
Too late: it already is happening here in Michigan. No one wants to fight but there is a difference between fighting and standing up for your natural law rights. I suspect that the impending holy war will have a level of wanton death and destruction that will be hard to imagine. But we will have to face reality. Got Faith?
Earth Day — Signing the Paris Climate Agreement
For this year’s rendition of Earth Day, the stakes couldn’t be higher. More than 130 nations will gather to formally sign the Paris Climate Agreement at the United Nations in New York. Nothing could better signify Earth Day than a global gaggle of government leaders burning fossil fuels on their way to forcing us to spend a lot of green to preserve a little green, all while expanding their control over our lives.
