Who will be left when they come for you? The Martin Niemöller poem has been used as an analogy for the government’s overreach in the country.
First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.
As was pointed out this weekend, an associate stated that both he and I are dead men. Is this the country that you want?

I asked if this is the country that you want. A comment below asked for solutions. Why? We have been given all of the tools that we need to have Liberty. The only thing that we lack is courage.

The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure. Our Convention has been too much impressed by the insurrection of Massachusetts: and in the spur of the moment they are setting up a kite to keep the hen yard in order. I hope in god this article will be rectified before the new constitution is accepted.”

The blood of patriots. Plural. LaVoy Finicum’s blood is only the beginning. Which is why I ask if patriots have faith in God.
