A North Carolina man killed his neighbor and stole money to purchase an assault rifle with which to carry out a terrorist attack, according to a federal indictment read on Monday and reported by ABCNews.

Justin Nojan Sullivan, 19, is also accused of attempting to pay an undercover FBI operative to kill his parents. Sullivan allegedly believed his parents would oppose his plans for an attack.

He “planned to carry out his attack in the following few days at a concert, bar or club where he believed that as many as 1,000 people could be killed using the assault rifle and silencer,” according to the indictment.

Shocking Fact About Black Babies In New York City

Photo credit: Online for Life's Dean Nelson

Here’s a topic for an in-depth discussion during Black History Month. There are more black babies killed in the womb than born alive in New York City.

Black women kill their children at higher rates than white and Hispanic women, but in New York City, the numbers are even more shocking. Life News reported that for every 1,000 black babies born, abortionists kill 1,200.

The new pregnancy statistics come from the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene for 2013. The shocking results show that 54.6 percent of black babies in healthy pregnancies were aborted that year.

Obama: ‘For More Than a Thousand Years People Have Been Drawn to Islam’s Message of Peace’

President Barack Obama said today in a speech at the Islamic Society of Baltimore that one fact that has not been “communicated on a regular basis through our media” is that “for more than a thousand years people have been drawn to Islam’s message of peace.”

“Whoever wants to enter paradise, the Prophet Mohammad taught, let him treat people the way he would love to be treated,” Obama said. “And for Christians like myself I am assuming that sounds familiar.”

January Gun Sales Set Yet Another Record

Guns / AP

The FBI conducted more gun-related background checks this January than in any other January since the system was created.

With 2,545,802 checks processed through the National Instant Background Check System, January 2016 beat the previous record, set in January 2013, by 50,326 checks. Though January’s number represents a drop from the all-time single month record set in December 2015, it is also marks the ninth month in a row that has set a record. It is also the third month in a row with more than two million background checks.

The number of background checks conducted by the FBI is widely considered the most reliable estimate for gun sales in the country since all sales conducted through federally licensed gun dealers and some sales conducted by private parties are required by law to obtain a check.

However, the number is not a one-to-one representation of gun sales. Many private sales are not included in the system. Also, in some cases a single background check can apply to the sale of multiple guns. Some states use background checks for their gun carry permitting process, which does not involve the sale of a gun.

T.L. Davis: Opportunities Lost

christian mercenary

I took a few days and I went to Burns, Oregon. I did not connect with Pacific Patriot Network or Idaho III%. I attempted to contact these groups, but I had limited time available and they did not respond to my inquiries. I did not go out to the wildlife refuge as that was not my purpose. I simply wanted to make the human connection with these groups, to establish trust.

My intention was to respond to a call to action. I did so, but without being able to contact PPN, my ability to work in connection with their efforts was lost. I guess they did fine without my participation and I am happy that they did.

My experience illuminates one of the very difficult issues of this community. I don’t mean to criticize either group, but if one puts out a call to action, but has no organization that is capable of responding to contact and therefore marshaling forces, they lose the advantage of trust. Obviously, I will not bother wasting my time responding to such calls in the future. Sure, they had bigger fish to fry and I assume, somewhere, they were busy voicing all of our concerns. For that I am grateful.

Muslim student’s powerful POTUS introduction

I can’t believe CNN misspelled Muslim on the title of the video (I corrected it on the title of the article). If Sabah is so proud to be an American, why does she emphasize the qualifiers for her: Black, Muslim and African? But that is the key to destroying the country from within: a house divided.

Does anyone think this opening is powerful?

BATTLE LINES BEING DRAWN, WILL YOU DEFEND YOUR LIBERTY?

by Wes Rhinier

Our forefathers’ worst nightmare has now come upon us.  They created a free government, limited in its powers and a servant to the people.  But today the United States has become an empire, fast decaying into tyranny; and we their children have become strangers and subjects in the land our fathers won.  Instead of a free and just social and political order, today we are threatened by a Godless national culture and a corrupt, despotic federal government that knows no limits to its power.

Our Founders were willing to die for the rights espoused in the Declaration they crafted and signed at their own Peril.  Their document boldly proclaimed our Right to Live in Freedom, freedom to be protected, not threatened, by the rule of the government.  The fundamental rights and freedoms enumerated in the Declaration of Independence included the right to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.  These rights were God-given and could not be eliminated even by a king or a government! It is startling to many people today that the same types of injustices that led to the Revolution are re-occurring in America today!  It was heavy-handed authoritarian control and unfair laws our founders were against!  There are many similarities between today’s issues in the United States and the issues the Colonies experienced leading up to the Declaration.  Our founders were called “Traitors and Radicals” and then the people Rebelled!

Groundhog Daze

2016, cartoon, caucus, clinton, conservative, cruz, groundhog day, hope and change, hope n' change, humor, iowa, obama, obama jokes, political, primaries, rubio, sanders, stilton jarlsberg, Trump,

Yesterday was Groundhog Day, a celebration of the remarkable fact that even dumpy, grumpy, squint-eyed rodents have a better chance of predicting the climate’s future than government-funded global warming researchers and experts. Which is odd, considering how many of those descriptive criteria also describe Al Gore.

Unfortunately for Phil, he was dragged from his slumber just in time to see the results of the Iowa caucuses. Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders essentially tied, although Hillary finally managed to eke out a technical win by dint of six coin tosses to assign delegates. Bernie supporters, who lostall six tosses by (ahem) remarkable coincidence, complained that the process was unfair owing to the fact that none of them actually had any coins of their own to flip.

What Is The Best Method Of Rebellion Against Tyranny?

by Brandon Smith

I have heard it often said that there is no one right way to accomplish a goal. I agree. However, I would add that while there is no such thing as “one right way” to achieve an objective, this does not mean there aren’t numerous WRONG ways to achieve an objective.

Doing “something” is not always better than doing nothing if that “something” is based on terrible strategy. Unfortunately, there are people out there with otherwise good intentions, even in the liberty movement, that seem to think that taking action without planning is preferable to patience. They do not understand that there is such a thing as negative returns.

The reality is that action is easy. Patience and planning are difficult. Emotional reaction is simple. Quiet professionalism is complicated.

This is the dynamic that is plaguing the liberty movement today; the battle between our emotional drive to jump headlong into conflict with our progressively corrupt establishment, and the absolute necessity for intelligent strategy and proper timing.

The issue here is not “fighting.” Most of us know and accept the fact that a fight is coming whether we like it or not. I say by all means, let’s fight, but fighting is not enough. If we fight, we must fight TO WIN, and this requires fighting smart.
