Government Showdown in Burns, OR for the Hammonds

The strangers carrying the whisper of danger arrived in the vast territory of the Harney Basin just before the holidays.

Ammon Bundy once helped his father repulse the government in an armed showdown on a Nevada desert. He was Tasered for his effort.

Ryan Payne, an electrician from Montana, joined that same standoff and boasted of organizing civilians into sniper squads that drew a bead on federal agents.

And not long ago, Jon Ritzheimer worried the FBI with his threatening rants against Muslims in Arizona and elsewhere.

Now, the men say, they are in Burns to help Dwight and Steven Hammond.

The Hammonds are father and son ranchers, due to report to federal prison on Monday. They were convicted in 2012 of arson for lighting public land on fire adjacent to their ranch land south of Burns. They have been imprisoned once and must return for an additional term after federal appellate judges said they had been illegally sentenced the first time.

Swiss Army Chief Warns Of Social Unrest, Calls Upon Citizens To Arm Themselves

Swiss army chief André Blattmann warned, in a Swiss newspaper article on Sunday, the risks of social unrest in Europe are soaring. Recalling the experience of 1939/1945, Blattman fears the increasing aggression in public discourse is an explosively hazardous situation, and advises the Swiss people to arm themselves and warns that the basis for Swiss prosperity is “being called into question.”

As Deutsche Wirtschafts Nachrichten reports, speaking on the record for the first time since the November Paris terror attacks, Blattmann told the paper that despite a rise in security incidents over the past two years Switzerland’s means of defence were being reduced.

Mob Rips Apart Afghan Woman Falsely Accused of Burning Koran

A mob at a Muslim shrine in central Kabul killed an Afghan woman who was falsely accused of burning the Koran, showing that Afghanistan has not changed much despite more than 14 years of U.S.-led engagement.

I wonder how many people will watch this video. This is Islam. Trying to shroud Islam as peaceful only leads to one eventual end. And the above example was Muslim against Muslim violence.

Why do you support a government that is controlled by the Muslim Brotherhood? What difference will it make replacing Obama with Hillary? Will you fight for your Lord or deny Him?

Status, Evolution, and Human Nature

HumanNature

As we move into a new year, I’d like to post something that I feel has fundamental importance. I hope you can take the time to read it carefully.

Status

Status is generally defined as a person’s condition, position, or standing relative to that of others.

Please read that definition again and consider this:

Status automatically creates division and conflict.

Status forces us to think in terms of position, hierarchy, and dominance, and can’t possibly do otherwise; it is built solely upon our standing relative to others.

In other words, status is a poison. It causes us to think of others as adversaries and to compulsively compare positions.

To be very blunt about it, status is a primate model of seeing other beings. But it’s even worse than that: Not only does status poison our inter-relationships, it poisons our self-image. After all, it requires us to think of ourselves as above or below every other person.

Here are the two central problems with status:

  1. Status is plainly irrational. We are massively complex beings, at the same time better and worse than the next person in a dozen ways.
  2. Status forces us to see each other as adversarial. Status seeds hate, malice, and war.

Evolution

Status stands before us as an evolutionary hurdle. If humanity is to rise as a species, it absolutely must transcend status. Until we do, humans will continue to think primate thoughts, and human history will remain centered on conflict.

Status is a continuous, pervasive, and internalized culture of man versus man. And most human minds do hold this as a central concept. How many people like to see themselves as richer, prettier, taller, or more powerful than others? By so thinking, they build the foundations of envy, abuse, and violence.

Our present world is dominated by status-based structures. Whether kingdom, democracy, theocracy, or whatever, status-based structures set one man or group of men above all others. These people of a “higher” position-relative-to-others collect the production of the “lower” people, issue edicts they are forced to obey, and punish those who do not.

In other words, the ruling systems of the present world are incarnations of status… they are “status made flesh,” to paraphrase a famous scripture. This is a primary reason why the world is perpetually at war. The very model on which our society is built sets man against man and group against group, automatically and unavoidably.

Human Nature

Status is not “us.” It may be something we’ve been trained in for dozens of generations; it may be something that has influenced us all our lives; but it is not “us.” It is, rather, a dirty and old habit.

Individual humans tend to transcend status fairly well when they exert effort on it. They usually learn, for example, to drop the concept among people they love. And therein lies the proof that it is not truly “us.” We are better than status.

The truth is that humans can and do demonstrate non-oppositional thinking and living. And in this we see that human nature has been sold short.

Humans, even while immersed in the poisonous and persistent mindscape of status, still demonstrate love and charity.

That fact speaks extremely well of us. Human nature is better than we thought it was.

It’s time to start stripping status from our minds and lives.

Renee Ellmers Is A Child Abuser

My Congressman is a child ABUSER!

My three beautiful children joined me when I filed because it is their future that has been placed very much in doubt by the political stupidity and cowardice of my Congressman (RINO Renee Ellmers), GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy, and a host of other gutless politicians who campaign as courageous “conservatives”, but govern as craven weasels cowering in the corner.

With the support of Ellmers & McCarthy, John Boehner and Paul Ryan have turned the Speaker’s Office from a bully pulpit into the Pansy Pulpit, and I’ve had enough. Renee Ellmers has saddled my children (and yours) with an absurd level of debt that they have no realistic hope of ever repaying. The policy wonks call it “intergenerational wealth transfer,” but I call it what it is: it’s child abuse. It’s fiscal child abuse, and it must end.

The Congress has stolen from our children and our children’s children because it has politicians like Renee Ellmers who can’t say no. They are hopelessly addicted to the crack of spending other people’s money. It’s an entirely new kind of slavery: the kind where you force children to work to pay off money you spent before they were even born.

I am nauseated at the prospect that Renee Ellmers might win another term in Congress.  Won’t you help me keep that from happening?  I’m counting on your support

Squeeze Player

obama, obama jokes, political, humor, cartoon, conservative, hope n' change, hope and change, stilton jarlsberg, squeeze, new year

In a final effort to suck the last iota of optimism out of Americans as the new year approaches, Barack Obama has declared that he intends to spend the next 12 months “squeezing every ounce of change” out of our country.

As verbs go, “squeezing” is at once unappealing and even threatening – calling to mind things like squeezing blood from a stone (or taxpayer) or applying crushing pressure to forceps in a federally-funded Planned Parenthood clinic. By its very nature, squeezing suggests a goal to which there will be resistance…and a bad outcome for that which is being squeezed.

Just Before Passing Surveillance Expansion, Lawmakers Partied With Pro-CISA Lobbyists

Image result for thom tillis obama

The night before Congress passed the Cybersecurity Information Sharing Act, a broad expansion of surveillance power in America, legislators attended a party with the chief lobbyists for the bill.

Last Thursday, Sens. Jim Inhofe, R-Okla., Cory Gardner, R-Colo., and Thom Tillis, R-N.C., along with a number of other lawmakers, went to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s famously lavish Christmas party.

The next morning, on December 18, the senators voted to pass the omnibus spending bill that included a version of CISA that guts privacy protections and creates new channels for both government agencies and private businesses to share information with the National Security Agency and law enforcement.

Obama Has Turned the War on Terror into the War on Christianity

  • Muslims “have nothing whatsoever to do with terrorism.” — Hillary Clinton.
  • “We have been forced to live under a climate of fear, this is not England. I grew up in in to a free decent country accepting British values and the British rule of law. … I think there is two laws, one for them and one for us.” — Nissar Hussain, a former Muslim living in West Yorkshire.
  • “They wanted to kill us by burning us alive, but we managed to escape. We have lost everything.” — Ramni Das, 57, accused of witchcraft in Bangladesh.
  • Iraq’s parliament passed a law that will force Christian children to become Muslim if their father converts to Islam or if their Christian mother marries a Muslim.
  • In Pakistan, an 8-year-old girl, Sara Bibi, was beaten and locked in a school bathroom by her Muslim head teacher for using the same toilet as Muslims. She was then expelled from the school.

As Muslim jihadis, mobs and regimes terrorized Christians and others throughout the world of Islam, in the West, institutions — from governments to grade schools — empowered and praised Islam, often at the expense of Christians.

U.S. President Barack Obama described the idea of giving preference to persecuted Christian refugees as “shameful” — even though helping persecuted refugees is what America has always been doing and much of what it is about. “That’s not American. That’s not who we are. We don’t have religious tests to our compassion,” Obama admonished. Unfortunately for the president, statistics were soon released, indicating that “the current [refugee] system overwhelmingly favors Muslim refugees. Of the 2,184 Syrian refugees admitted to the United States so far, only 53 are Christians while 2,098 are Muslim.” So, although Christians are 10% of Syria’s population — and possibly the most persecuted group — only 2% of the refugees entering America are Christian.

Gowdy officially endorses Rubio

Marco Rubio on Tuesday officially won the endorsement of Rep. Trey Gowdy, the chairman of the Select Committee on Benghazi, as the two hit the stump together in Iowa.

“It’s not my job to tell you who to vote for, but I’m going to tell you who I’m going to vote for,” the South Carolina congressman said while introducing Rubio at a town hall event.

“I’m going to vote for Marco Rubio, and I’ll tell you why. National security and public safety are the most important issues to me and there is nobody better on those two issues than Marco Rubio.”

He immediately chided President Obama, who has filled out his NCAA basketball bracket on ESPN each year of his presidency.

“Our Founding Fathers did not give us a commander-in-chief to fill out March Madness basketball brackets, or to sample every golf coast on the Eastern seaboard,” Gowdy said.

California law allowing seizure of guns without notice begins Jan. 1

Benjamin Wagner, the United States Attorney for the Eastern District of California, displays one of the guns seized in an undercover operation, during a news conference in Sacramento, Calif., on Oct. 15, 2015. Wagner announced a federal grand jury indicted 8 men on a variety of firearm charges including the manufacturing and dealing in firearms without a license. At left is Jill A. Snyder, Special Agent in Charge for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. (Associated Press) **FILE**

Gun control legislation going into effect in California next week will allow authorities to seize a person’s weapons for 21 days if a judge determines there is potential for violence.

Proposed in the wake of a deadly May 2014 shooting rampage by Elliot Rodger, the bill provides family members with a means of having an emergency “gun violence restraining order” imposed against a loved one if they can convince a judge that this person’s possession of a firearm “poses an immediate and present danger of causing personal injury to himself, herself or another by having in his or her custody or control.”

A little nibble here and there eventually becomes a successfully completed agenda. It worked for the government’s takeover of healthcare and student loans, glorification of homosexuality and the implementation of an autocratic government. The only thing preventing complete domination is:
“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”
You would do well to put this into practice.

‘Sweet Cakes’ Owners’ Bank Accounts Seized as Damages for Refusing to Bake Wedding Cake for Lesbian Couple

Melissa and Aaron Klein (Sweet Cakes By Melissa/Samaritan’s Purse)

On Monday, the Associated Press reported that “Sweet Cakes by Melissa” owners Melissa and Aaron Klein paid their state-ordered damages to a lesbian couple with check totaling $136,927.07 — but that isn’t the whole story.

According to Fox News writer Todd Starnes, who spoke with Melissa Klein a few weeks before Christmas, Oregon’s Bureau of Labor and Industries confiscated all of the money in her checking and savings accounts, including one that had money set aside for her church tithe. They totaled nearly $7,000.

U.S. Carrier Harry S. Truman Has Close Call With Iranian Rockets

U.S. Navy Launches Strikes On Iraq

The U.S. aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman came about 1,500 yards from an Iranian rocket in the Strait of Hormuz last week, two U.S. military officials told NBC News on Tuesday.

As the Truman was transiting the strait, which connects the Arabian Sea and the Persian Gulf, Iranian Revolutionary Guards conducted a live-fire exercise right near the U.S. carrier Saturday, officials said.

A U.S. military official said an Iranian navy fast and short attack craft began conducting a live-fire exercise at the same time the carrier was nearing the end of the strait, firing off several unguided rockets. A French frigate, the U.S. destroyer USS Buckley and other commercial traffic were also in the area.
