Doctors Without Borders Says Bombing of Afghan Hospital Was No Mistake

The head of an international medical charity whose hospital in northern Afghanistan was destroyed in a U.S. airstrike says the “extensive, quite precise destruction” of the bombing raid casts doubt on American military assertions that it was a mistake.

The Oct. 3 attack on the compound in Kunduz city, which killed at least 22 patients and hospital staff, should be investigated as a possible war crime, said Christopher Stokes, general director of Doctors Without Borders, which is also known by its French abbreviation MSF.

The trauma hospital was bombed during a firefight between Taliban and government troops, as U.S. advisers were helping Afghan forces retake the city after the insurgents overran it and seized control on Sept. 28. Afghan authorities say they are now largely back in control of Kunduz.

I doubt that the majority of the German people felt that they were evil under the Nazi regime. If the government is evil, are the people responsible? We know the answer.

“Silence in the face of evil is itself evil: God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act.”

Dietrich Bonhoeffer died to in his fight to rid the world of evil. He went to the gallows with a smile because he knew where he would spend eternity. I believe this government is more evil than Nazi Germany. How will the Lord judge a people who condone butchering their babies for spare parts? How strong is your faith?

Putin’s “Operation Salvation” shall begin soon to save Christians in the Middle East

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Putin scores twice:
  1. Russia is able to start a proxy war in Syria with the United States with no consequences. It appears that the final offensive will start soon and ISIS will be removed from the Levant.
  2. Putin’s “Operation Salvation” is being characterized as saving Christians in the Middle East.
The icing on the cake: the hegemony of the United States is falling apart.
If these events unfold as expected, Obama will be relegated to a footnote in history as the pResident who destroyed the United States of America.
The War Within
Though you will not hear any politician or the lamestream media acknowledge it, America is very near a second civil war—if we are not already there. There are forces at work in the United States which wish our destruction and whether cunningly, dimwittedly, or openly, the result will be the same.
There are three factions who, either knowingly, or through ignorance and incompetence are leading America into a place of no recovery. These factions are: the liberal politicians (in both major political parties) who currently control all three branches of government, the agenda driven Muslims in the United States, and the black underclass which makes up the majority of our large metropolitan urban areas.
I will discuss the three in reverse order as listed. The “Black lives matter” movement which is led by the fringe left within the black community is fomenting hatred of our law enforcement officials. There have been random and racially motivated killings of police for no better reason than they are desired to be “pigs in a blanket”—a dead policeman in a body bag. There are two things to consider here; the police hold the concrete jungles of our inner cities together and without their presence, there would be complete mayhem. The police are intimidated and are afraid to do their jobs—the result is an accelerated crime and murder rate in the inner cities. So far, blacks are killing blacks in the inner cities—if that changes and they widen their carnage to the suburbs, all hell will break loose.
Lehigh Valley meeting on helping refugees draws tea party concerns about terrorists
One man asked if the group takes care to make sure Christian Syrians and Muslim Syrians aren’t in neighboring apartments because of possible animosity.
Abbas Khalaf, a case manager with Lutheran Children and Family Service, said many Christian Syrians arrived in the Lehigh Valley about 20 years ago and they are helping the Muslim Syrian refugees who are coming now.
Most of the refugees that are arriving are Syrian Muslims, but most of the help I’m getting for them is from the Christian community,” Khalaf said.
Looking at 2013, 85.1% ($13,168,645) of their budget comes from “Program Service Revenue”. I assume that means government payouts – maybe they could clarify the source of their income excluding the “Contributions, Gifts, Grants and Other Similar Amounts” entry. From the table above, 91% of their revenue goes into payroll, benefits and multiple “Other Expenses” entries. If you take out the “Other Expenses”, the percentage goes to 52%. My company’s spreadsheet has a Miscellaneous item which accounts for less than 1% of our budget. I have no “Other expenses” line item entries. But if I did, I am sure that it would qualify for an IRS audit.
Lutheran meeting in Allentown, PA gets contentious, but who is this wealthy ‘Lutheran’ group?
Map of lutheran family services in the carolinas
Lutheran Family Services locations in the Carolinas.
From their site:
Lutheran Services Carolinas and its affiliates are not-for-profit charitable corporations under section 501(c)(3) of the IRS tax code. At the same time, it is a misnomer to believe that because of the not-for-profit tax designation, that Lutheran Services Carolinas does not attempt and expect to generate earnings in excess of expenses, which appear as an accounting “profit.”
The information below concerning Lutheran Family Services and their actions relocating Muslim immigrants in our country is not well known. We must help our fellow man. We do not have any obligation to help a quasi-governmental agency relocate terrorists.
Luanne Fisher
Luanne Fisher is the Lutheran CEO/President with the huge salary (below). Here she is as part of Lutheran Liberty. I think real Lutherans should be looking into this tangled web of groups using the name of your faith while milking taxpayers. http://www.libertylutheran.org/executive-team
This is an update of the post we wrote here the other day.  Lutheran Children and Family Service of Eastern Pennsylvania held a public meeting to bring together churches in the Allentown area to prep them for the arrival of Syrian refugees.
The Morning Call reported on what happened next, here.
A Lutheran group that settles refugees in the Lehigh Valley got more than it bargained for at a meeting Wednesday when members of the Lehigh Valley Tea Party and other groups questioned whether some of those refugees might be terrorists.
Lutheran Children and Family Service of Eastern Pennsylvania is rolling in YOUR bucks!
They are from Philadelphia where refugee overload means diversity is not such a beautiful thing and thus they need to be spreading their refugees out to surrounding towns and cities—Allentown is about 50 miles from Philadelphia.  More here.
Some parts of their website are password protected (what are they hiding there?).
If you think this ‘church’ group is passing the plate on Sunday mornings to pay for all of this, forget it.  By the way, they are a subcontractor of major federal contractor Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service, here.
We had a look at the most recent Form 990 available for Ms. Panning’s organization and here is some of what we learned (p.9):
Gross receipts that year were:  $14,273,796
Government grants:  $13,506,480 (federal and state taxpayer dollars!)
So that comes to 95% funded by taxpayers!  This is not a private non-profit group, this is essentially a quasi-government agency!
It gets worse!
Going for the Brain: Why al-Qaida Attacks Yemen Intelligence Buildings & Personnel
Guerrillamerica
by Sam Culper III
I haven’t been keeping up with the four-sided war in Yemen probably as much as I should be.  One thing I’ve noticed about the fighting, however, is a concerted effort by al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP; aka Ansar al-Sharia) to attack military intelligence targets across Yemen.  (While everyone’s been focused on the global proxy war in Syria, the Saudis have been bombing Yemeni markets and mosques used by Houthi guerrillas and no one bats an eyelash.  Probably didn’t hear about the Saudi plane that was shot down over Yemen or the Scud missile that was launched into Saudi Arabia, either.)
Currently Yemen is split into two legitimate factions: pro-Hadi Sunnis (current president) and pro-Saleh Shiites called the Houthis (they support the former president of Yemen, Ali Abdullah Saleh).  Don’t get confused because it’s not that important – just remember that it’s Shia versus Sunni.  (Surprise, surprise.)  The most important thing is what AQAP is doing to exploit the security situation.
Friday’s attack against the Fifth Military District HQ in al Hudaydah is a continuing trend in AQAP’s fight against the Yemeni government, specifically targeting military intelligence facilities.  According to Xinhua, AQAP fighters killed ten soldiers and destroyed the building on 16 October.  During the complex attack, a car bomb exploded at the rear gate and then the main gate was attacked by gunmen who raided the building, which is a very common tactic used by insurgents and terrorists across the Middle East.
Here’s a list of known attacks against intelligence targets:
Pork Is Back on the Menu
Pigs
The Obama administration did a rapid U-turn on its decision to remove pork products from federal prisons after a few questions from Iowa Sen. Chuck Grassley.
The federal Bureau of Prisons’ reversal of the Oct. 1 menu change comes just one week after its spokesman, Edmond Ross, said pork was the “lowest-rated” food among inmates.
“To corroborate the validity of the claim that prisoners indicated a lack of interest in pork products, I am requesting copies of the prisoner surveys and responses that were used to support the determination to no longer serve pork in federal prisons,” the Republican senator wrote to the agency on Thursday, the Washington Post reported. “Please provide any economic evaluations the Bureau of Prisons has relied on that detail the cost of pork as compared to beef, chicken, and non-meat products such as tofu and soy products.”
Pig products were back on the menu within hours of the letter’s publication.
Grassley also happens to be the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, which oversees the federal prison system.
Obama cancels Arctic drilling lease sales
The Obama administration took a number of actions Friday to restrict future offshore drilling in the Arctic Ocean.
The Interior Department is canceling two lease sales it had planned over the next year and a half for Arctic drilling rights and denying two oil companies’ requests to extend the time on leases that they currently hold.
 The decision comes weeks after Royal Dutch Shell pulled out of the Arctic for the foreseeable future, saying the little oil it found in this summer’s drilling is not worth the cost.
The administration said its decisions are based on the current oil markets and low interest in Arctic drilling.
But it’s also a significant action to crack down on one of the most controversial types of offshore oil and gas drilling that has environmentalists fired up in opposition.
