Scientists exploring the archiving potential of DNA conducted a test in which error-free data was downloaded after the equivalent of 2000 years.

The next challenge is to find a way of searching for information encoded in strands of DNA floating in a drop of liquid.

Lead researcher Dr Robert Grass said DNA had a “language” not unlike the binary code in computers. While a hard drive uses zeros and ones to represent data, the DNA code is written in sequences of four chemical nucleotides.

The Savannah River Site confirmed the facility is experiencing a “security event” at the site’s H Area; however, the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office is calling the event a “lockdown.”

As of now, no one is allowed in or out of the facility and site barricades are closed off to incoming traffic.

Savannah River Site issued a press release stating “a potential security event is in progress that has triggered emergency response activities at the Department of Energy’s Savannah River Site,” and the release is “being sent to you as part of our emergency response organization information process.”

SRS also stated there is no indication of a “consequence beyond the Savannah River Site boundaries,” and the Site will provide further information when it becomes available.

The site’s H Area is the location of H Canyon, the only hardened chemical separations facility still operating in the U.S. The primary mission of the H-Canyon Complex is to dissolve, purify and blend-down surplus highly.

Fighting has escalated in Ukraine six months after a ceasefire was supposed to end hostilities, raising fears that Russian-backed separatists could soon launch another offensive as the West focuses on other global crises.

Ukraine’s military reported 127 attacks on Monday by the pro-Russian rebels, including an assault by 400 separatists and tanks about 30 miles north of Mariupol, a strategic government-held port in southeastern Ukraine. Four vehicles belonging to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe were also torched last weekend in Donetsk, one of two main separatist enclaves in eastern Ukraine.

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry “expressed grave concern” Thursday about the escalation in rebel attacks in a phone call with Sergei Lavrov, his Russian counterpart. Kerry urged Russia to end its support for the separatists and stick to the Minsk ceasefire signed in mid-February.

Once upon a time, it was popular to say that the U.S. government only had enough wheat stored up to provide everyone in America with half a loaf of bread.  But that is not true anymore.  Recently, I discovered that the U.S. does not have any strategic grain reserves left at all.  Zero.  Nada.  Zilch.  As you will see below, the USDA liquidated the remaining reserves back in 2008.  So if a major food crisis hit this country, our government would have nothing to give us.  Of course the federal government could always go out and try to buy or seize food to feed the population during a major emergency, but that wouldn’t actually increase the total amount of food that was available.  Instead, it would just give the government more power over who gets it.

The U.S. strategic grain reserve was initially created during the days of the Great Depression.  Back then, the wisdom of storing up food for hard times was self-evident.  Unfortunately, over time interest in this program faded, and at this point there is no strategic grain reserve in the United States at all.  The following comes from the Los Angeles Times…

The government issued their monthly retail sales this past week and four of the biggest department store chains in the country announced their quarterly results. The year over year retail sales increase of 2.4% is pitifully low in an economy that is supposedly in its sixth year of economic growth with a reported unemployment rate of only 5.3%. If all of these jobs have been created, why aren’t retail sales booming?

The year to date numbers are even worse than the year over year numbers. With consumer spending accounting for 70% of our GDP and real inflation running north of 5%, it’s pretty clear most Americans are experiencing a recession, despite the propaganda data circulated by the government and Fed. The only people not experiencing a recession are corporate executives enriching themselves through stock buybacks, Wall Street bankers using free Fed Bucks while rigging the the markets in their favor, politicians and government bureaucrats reaping their bribes from billionaire oligarchs, and the media toadies who dispense the Deep State approved propaganda to keep the ignorant masses dazed, confused, and endlessly distracted by Cecil the Lion, Bruce/Caitlyn Jenner, Ferguson, and blood coming out of whatever.

You won’t hear CNBC, Bloomberg, the Wall Street Journal or any corporate mainstream media outlet reference the fact retail sales growth is at the exact same levels as when recession hit in 2008 and 2001. Their job is to regurgitate the message of economic recovery and confidence in the future, despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

Readers of this site understand that I mainly post information linking to other people’s articles on topics that I personally find interesting. I rarely write original articles as I did when I first became sentient in 2008. Sentience is a term that I do not use lightly and I do not want people to think that I am chastising them for the use of this term.

I stopped writing because I never sought anything other than humility. The Lord does not like an arrogant man and although I often fall short, I pray every day to walk the path that the Lord has chosen for me. Unfortunately, people are seeking leaders for direction instead of the Word. I too am seeking leaders but my definition of leadership is a righteous definition. I have found very few leaders and I pray that the Lord will send more.

When I do receive messages, I keep them to myself unless the Lord has made it clear that I must act or share information. Most people that are sentient, understand what is coming. More importantly, they understand the time frame involved. Today I was directed to read Isaiah. And then I was told to post this for your understanding. There is no need to explain the correlation between Isaiah’s warning for Judah and Jerusalem and the evil that resides in Washington, D.C. and the states’ capitals. Or the upcoming consequences.

² Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the Lord hath spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me.
