Blaming Charleston Shooting On The Tea Party?

On CNN last night, Charleston pastor Thomas Dixon was on with Erin Burnett and Marc Lamont Hill discussing the mass murder there, as well as the Confederate flag and other race issues. As part of the discussion, Burnett asked the pastor why it seemed that race relations are worse now under President Obama than they were just after he first took office. During his answer, the pastor made a terrible accusation.

“The more that this happened with the Tea Party movement, the attack by the Republicans and conservatives against our President, the more it opened up the door for those who were more, more or less afraid, should I say, or skeptical about speaking on these issues to feel more freedom and latitude in presenting the way that they truly felt. So now we see the end result of that.”

Obama: Gun reform would have kept ‘some more Americans’ alive

President Obama said on Friday that if lawmakers had responded to his earlier calls for reform of the nation’s gun laws “we might have some more Americans still here with us.”

“You all might have to attend fewer funerals,” he said. “Some families might still be whole.”

Obama made the remarks in the wake of a mass shooting in Charleston, S.C. Nine people were killed at a historic black church in the city on Wednesday evening. Dylann Roof, a 21-year-old white man, has been charged with nine counts of murder in the atrocity.

Obama made the remarks as he asserted that he would not abandon his quest fo stricter gun control.

“I am not resigned,” Obama said at the annual U.S. Conference of Mayors in San Francisco.

I have heard the argument that if one of those church members were armed, this tragedy may have been prevented. While that is probable, is this the society that we want to become? A moot question because that is the society that we already are. If you want to be safe and secure, you have to be armed. That also means training. The 2nd Amendment’s purpose is to protect the people from the government. People who understand this also know that gun control has no impact on criminals: look at Chicago.

The pResident only needs to look into the mirror (along with Eric Holder) to see who is responsible for the decline in race relations in the country.

Obama on Gun Violence: Grieving Not Enough

From YouTube:

Speaking at a conference of U.S. Mayors, President Obama Friday said that simply grieving over incidence of gun violence is not enough, and the nation should take broader steps to control gun ownership.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Another round of gun control by the government.
We can be sure of death, taxes and gun control legislation. We can also be sure that the government of this nation will never end their quest for power through tyranny.
Your statehouse shouldn’t be your doctor
Friend —
In state legislatures all over the country, extreme special interests are on the attack, introducing legislation designed to prevent women from making their own health care decisions.
These representatives are setting a dangerous precedent for reproductive rights nationwide, and they aren’t going to stop unless we fight back.
We’re putting together a team to do just that — join in today.
A woman’s health care decisions are a private matter between herself and her doctor, and no one — especially not those in the statehouse — should be making those decisions for her.
Together we can protect women’s access to reproductive health care and fight back against the lawmakers that are trying to eliminate that right.
Join the team that’s fighting to make sure every woman can make her own health care choices:
Does anyone believe this propaganda? How can any argument be made for any government intrusion into health care?
An Inside Look At How Obama Killed The U.S.-Israel Relationship
Michael B. Oren / AP
In his new memoir, former Israeli Ambassador Michael Oren documents the rapid dissolution of the historically close U.S.-Israel alliance under President Barack Obama. Oren recounts being threatened and intimidated at multiple junctures by Obama and his senior officials, marking many firsts in a relationship that has long been the cornerstone of American foreign policy.
The memoir, Ally: My Journey Across the American-Israeli Divide, has already rushed to the top of Amazon’s bestseller list. It provides a window into the daily stresses and strains Obama and his allies heaped upon the Jewish state—from placing unprecedented demands on Israel regarding the peace process to fabricating crises in the U.S.-Israel alliance.
“Prophecy was not required to foresee that an Obama presidency might strain the U.S.-Israel alliance,” Oren writes in the early pages of his book.
Obama stacked his administration with senior officials hostile to Israel and pursued a policy of “daylight” with Jewish state, Oren recounts.
“The first thing Obama will do in office is pick a fight with Israel,” Oren recalls a confidant as telling him in the early days of the administration.
Below are a series of passages that reveal in detail how the U.S.-Israel alliance hit historic lows under the Obama administration.
Which member of the political elites will write “An Inside Look At How Obama Killed The U.S.”? Or maybe we should look in the mirror and ask why we did not do more to protect our Liberty?
NC Voter ID gutted today after Soros-funded effort
“Late today, in a stunning betrayal of every NC voter who fought hard for  “real voter ID,” our House and Senate completely gutted the voter ID law by allowing any voter to sign an unenforceable affidavit, attesting to their name, and by allowing any voter, of any age, to use an expired driver license for voter ID, despite clear evidence and media accounts of the thousands of DMV customers in late 2005 and early 2006 who flooded their offices for driver licenses before the proof of citizenship was required. This must not stand. Our last hope now lies in the mercy of God Almighty and the hands of people who elected a reform-minded super majority to both chambers in 2012.”
Urgent Action Steps
1-Pray to our Lord that the spirit of fear will not conquer North Carolina as it has so many other governmental entities lately.
2-Quickly melt the Governor’s phone lines to demand his veto of HB 836. His phone numbers are 800.662.7952 and 919.814.2050. He could sign the bill right away, so please take this action immediately.
3-Call your State Senators or Representatives and demand they remove Section 8 from HB 836 after the Governor vetoes it. They did this in the last 20 minutes of the session and then left town until Monday, so you will need to reach them in their home districts. Click here to find your elected House and Senate members.
Disgusting Details
Beginning on Page 6, line 33 of this conference committee legislation, NC lawmakers stripped all authority from county election boards to reject the provisional ballot of any voter who signs an toothless document, called a “reasonable impediment declaration,” and produces an official looking piece of paper with the voter’s alleged name and address on it.
Page 7, Line 22 guts the rules preventing expired driver licenses in voting.
At the 1:17:30 mark on this house audio recording of today’s session, Rep David Lewis announces the measure originated by Sen. Angela Bryant (D-Rocky Mount), a vocal opponent of voter ID from the beginning.
Not content with winning, Rep Glazier 1:22:20 began a series of questions to Rep Lewis that made more detailed demands to negate enforcement. Lewis caved on every added loophole that Rep Glazier could muster. (We congratulate him on keeping a straight face.)
Later in the audio, Rep Lewis admitted his party’s surrender was a direct result of the Soros-backed Democracy NC’s well-funded coordinated statewide effort over the past two weeks to demand unenforceable affidavits for people who couldn’t be bothered to obey the new voter ID laws.
Tell this to the next idiot who thinks you’re “unpatriotic
US-army-patriotic
by Simon Black
I’ll never forget the Oath of Office I took when I was commissioned as an Army Intelligence Officer all those years ago.
The most important part is where you swear to “support and defend the Constitution of the United States against ALL enemies, foreign and domestic.”
That was the part that kept ringing in my head as George W. Bush went on TV in the run-up to the Iraq war talking about weapons of mass destruction.
We had been on the ground in Kuwait since late 2002, months before the invasion of Iraq kicked off. And every time Bush told that lie, I thought about my oath.
I’m disappointed to admit that, back then, I didn’t have the courage to go up against the big Army machine… to march into my Battalion Commander’s office and say, “Sir, we must defend the Constitution against the President of the United States.”
I knew I would get crushed.
Pope Francis Calls For A New Global Political Authority To Save Humanity
Global Puzzle - Public Domain
Pope Francis says that global warming is a fact and that a new global political authority is necessary in order to save humanity from utter disaster. The new encyclical that was scheduled to be released on Thursday has been leaked, and it is being reported that this new global political authority that Pope Francis envisions would be in charge of “the reduction of pollution and the development of poor countries and regions”.  The funny thing is that this sounds very much in line with the new sustainable development agenda that is going to be launched at the United Nations in September.  This radical new agenda is already being called “Agenda 21 on steroids” because it goes so much farther than Agenda 21 ever did. The new UN agenda does not just address the environment – it also addresses issues such as poverty, agriculture, education and gender equality.  It is essentially a blueprint for governing the entire planet, and that sounds very much like what Pope Francis also wants.  In fact, Pope Francis is going to give the speech that kicks off the UN conference in September where this new sustainable agenda will be launched.  For some reason, this Pope has decided to make the fight against climate change the central pillar of his papacy, and he is working very hard to unite as much of humanity as possible to get behind that effort.
It is not an accident that this new encyclical is coming out now. An article from the Guardian even states that the release was intended “to have maximum public impact” prior to the Pope’s major speech at the UN in September…
