Cities using work permit aliens to enforce gun edicts and laws against citizens

Is the hiring of armed, work-permitted foreign nationals to deploy on U.S. soil what the Founders had in mind for "the security of a free State"?

Police departments hiring immigrants as officers,” USA Today reported Sunday. “[S]ome [departments] are allowing immigrants who are legally in the country to wear the badge. From Hawaii to Vermont, agencies are allowing green-card holders and legal immigrants with work permits to join their ranks.”

To paraphrase Bill Clinton, that depends on what the meaning of the term “legal” is.

“Some, like the Chicago and Hawaii police departments, allow any immigrant with a work authorization from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services to become an officer,” the story explains. “That means people in the country on temporary visas or are applying for green cards can join.”

While some apologist for the policy, like Ali Noorani, executive director of the National Immigration Forum, which advocates for “a pathway to citizenship for those who are here illegally,” dismiss security concerns as a “straw man” argument, Mark Krikorian, director of the Center for Immigration Studies, warns that standards for ensuring that are far from assured. And while he is unconcerned “with green-card holders … because they’ve made a long-term commitment to the country and have undergone extensive background checks … he worries about the security risks associated with allowing any immigrant with a work permit to become an officer, especially considering that the Obama administration has given hundreds of thousands of undocumented immigrants work permits.”

It’s more than that, which Krikorian’s own organization has documented. A lot more, if a CIS study published in February is accurate.

“More than 2.2 million work permits were issued over this time period [2009 to 2014] to illegal aliens or aliens unqualified for admission,” director of policy studies Jessica Vaughn elaborated. “Nearly all of these (2.1 million) were illegal aliens who crossed the border illegally (Entered Without Inspection). Inexplicably, 2,860 work permits were issued to aliens who were denied asylum, were suspected of using fraudulent documents, were stowaways, or were refused at a port of entry.”

The need for transparent oversight and accountability under such circumstances must include assurances that all officers deployed are versed and committed to the Bill of Rights, required in the oath to the Constitution mandated by Article. VI. That further includes an understanding of a duty to reject unlawful orders, the core purpose behind Oath Keepers, and a legitimate concern Americans should have regarding all officers.

With increased militarization of police, and with “[m]any cities … reducing the minimum standards to attract candidates,” a primary concern leaders sworn “to secure the Blessings of Liberty” ought to guard against is the presence of de facto foreign troops enforcing gun bans and disarming Americans on U.S. soil.

It’s fair to ask if this is what the Framers really had in mind when they recognized what was “necessary to the security of a free State.”

They Are Slowly Making Cash Illegal

Cash - Public Domain

The move to a cashless society won’t happen overnight.  Instead, it is being implemented very slowly and systematically in a series of incremental steps.  All over the planet, governments are starting to place restrictions on the use of cash for security reasons.  As citizens, we are being told that this is being done to thwart criminals, terrorists, drug runners, money launderers and tax evaders.  Other forms of payment are much easier for governments to track, and so they very much prefer them.  But we are rapidly getting to the point where the use of cash is considered to be a “suspicious activity” all by itself.  These days, if you pay a hotel bill with cash or if you pay for several hundred dollars worth of goods at a store with cash you are probably going to get looked at funny.  You see, the truth is that we have already been trained to regard the use of large amounts of cash to be unusual.  The next step will be to formally ban large cash transactions like France and other countries in Europe are already doing.

Starting in September, cash transactions of more than 1,000 euros will be banned in France.  The following comes from a recent Zero Hedge article which detailed what these new restrictions will do…

Prohibiting  French residents from making cash payments of more than 1,000 euros, down from the current limit of  3,000 euros.

Given the parlous state of the stagnating French economy the limit for foreign tourists on currency payments will remain higher, at 10,000 euros down from the current limit of 15,000 euros.

TREASON

Without question, this is plain evidence of Treason – our pResident speaking directly to the Iranian people, voluntarily offering them promises to assist in the development of “peaceful nuclear power” for their terrorist state of Iran.

US Constitution, Art. 3, Sec. 3, reads, “Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort.”

Thus has the pResident publicly attained himself before us, and the entire world.

The punishment is as obvious as the crime –

IMPEACH,
CONVICT,
EXECUTE!

…repeat as necessary!

US “Loses” $500 Million In Weapons Given To Yemen, Now In Al-Qaeda Hands

Nobody could have possibly foreseen that yet another US foreign diplomacy “success story” would turn out to be an epic disaster. Well, nobody, except for those who accurately predict that every US intervention abroad is now a staggering fiasco (for everyone involved except the US military-industrial complex of course). As for Yemen, the outcome was clear long ago:

And, naturally, after noting that “the employees said that more than 20 vehicles were taken by the fighters after the Americans departed from Sanaa’s airport” we asked how long until we have a “tabulation of losses to US taxpayers, just like the great Islamic State ‘robbery’ of hundreds of millions in US military equipment in Iraq?” That, of course, was another epic US intervention success story.

Anyway, thanks to WaPo we have an answer: according to Jeff Bezos’ recent media acquisition, “the Pentagon is unable to account for more than $500 million in U.S. military aid given to Yemen.”

86 PERSONS QUARANTINED IN NEW EBOLA VIRUS EMERGENCE

Laurence Doe Innis, brother of Liberia’s latest confirmed Ebola patient, sits with hands on his cheeks, worried about what is going to happen to him in the next ten days or so. Doe says he is worried because he helped get his sister (who tested positive for Ebola) to the Redemption Hospital where it was noticed that she had symptoms of the deadly Ebola Virus. He said his sister, Ruth Tugbheh, 44, got sick on Sunday, March 15 and her condition became worse on Thursday of the same week.
“On Monday she had a fever, but we were still looking after her and on Thursday she became worse and at night when I came she was in pain,” said Innis. “She asked me to help take her to Redemption Hospital. She walked from her room to the train tracks. We stopped the motorbike rider and put her on the bike and I sat behind her and it took us to Caldwell Junction. At Caldwell Junction we walked all the way to Point Four and took another bike into New Kru Town.”

He said at the Redemption Hospital the health workers quickly recognized the symptoms after thoroughly examining her, they decided she should stay at the hospital, but did not tell him why. He said on Friday he received calls from several organizations about his sister’s condition. “I was very speechless because I’ve never had such an experience or met such people in my life. They asked me questions about my sister because I took her to the hospital,” he said.

What Gives Life Its Value?

Image result for freedom

I read Fran Porretto’s Sunday rumination concerning the cost of life and how people value it differently when as often happens, I received a message.

“What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly: it is dearness only that gives every thing its value. Heaven knows how to put a proper price upon its goods; and it would be strange indeed if so celestial an article as freedom should not be highly rated.”

― Thomas Paine, The American Crisis

When people “ruminate” over the fate of our country, they give little conscious thought to the real point: WE ARE BORN FREE. And that freedom is guaranteed to us first by God and then by the actions of our founding fathers by the concept of Liberty. People believe you can buy freedom but that is as much an illusion as being able to buy honor.

As an example, people who wanted to escape tyranny and oppression in Europe for an opportunity for a better life in the Americas “indentured” themselves for a period of time in order to pay for their passage. Once this period of time was over, they were free. After the Anthony Johnson case, indentured servitude turned into slavery.

While the Bible allows for slavery in both the old and new Testaments, I believe that all men should be free. But the question becomes: what price will we pay for our children to be free? And for me that is the only question.

OPSEC Webinar – Open Enrollment – Wed, 25 MAR

Guerrillamerica

by Sam Culper

After the last webinar, a few folks emailed me about having covered too much information in too little a time. There’s some merit to the complaint, because I breezed through about four hours of lecture in less than two hours. The last webinar, from start to finish, was over an hour and a half, including ample Q&A time, which is definitely not long enough to teach everything that needs to be taught. We could easily spend three days on this stuff.

Typically, these webinars are only for subscribers to Forward Observer Magazine. I’m going to open up and do the Operations Security (OPSEC) webinar for this community because it really contains some vital information for the Patriot-Prepper.

It’s going to be on Wednesday, 25 March at 6pm Pacific / 9pm Eastern. I’ll be discussing in detail the concepts involved, like the Critical Information List and Essential Elements of Friendly Information.

OPSEC is a security program geared towards identifying how information is collected about you, and then implementing countermeasures so that we’re able to deny critical information to our adversaries.

Here’s the link to register: https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/3898706969222195713

Hope to see you there. (Get there a few minutes early in case it fills up again.)

Washington Caves: Will Seek Partnership With China-Led Development Bank

Don’t look now, but Washington just blinked. As we’ve documented exhaustively over the past week, pressure has been building steadily for the US to strike some manner of conciliatory tone towards China with regard to the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, a China-led institution aimed at rivaling the US/Japan-backed ADB. Britain’s decision to join China in its new endeavor has prompted a number of Western nations to throw their support behind the bank ahead of the March 31 deadline for membership application. Because the AIIB effectively represents the beginning of the end for US hegemony, the White House has demeaned the effort from its inception questioning the ability of non-G-7 nations to create an institution that can be trusted to operation in accordance with the proper “standards.” Now, with 35 nations set to join as founders, it appears Washington may be set to concede defeat. Here’s more, via WSJ:

The Obama administration, facing defiance by allies that have signed up to support a new Chinese-led infrastructure fund, is proposing the bank work in a partnership with Washington-backed development institutions such as the World Bank.

The collaborative approach is designed to steer the new bank toward economic aims of the world’s leading economies and away from becoming an instrument of Beijing’s foreign policy. The bank’s potential to promote new alliances and sidestep existing institutions has been one of the Obama administration’s chief concerns as key allies including the U.K., Germany and France lined up in recent days to become founding members of the new Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank.

Navy Strategic Air Wing Commander Fired

Capt. Heather E. Cole

The Navy fired the commander of an organization whose aircraft allow the president and the secretary of defense to directly contact the submarines, bombers and land-based missiles that comprise the nation’s strategic nuclear force.

A Navy statement said Capt. Heather E. Cole was relieved of her duties as commander of Strategic Communications Wing 1, based at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, for what it called a “loss of confidence” in her ability to lead.

A spokeswoman, Cmdr. Jeannie Groeneveld, said the firing was based on findings of an investigation into her management of the wing. Details were not released.

A Pacfic Fleet Public Affairs statement said that the action resulted from the initial findings of an investigation, which determined that Cole had not performed up to the high standards demanded of an officer in command.

There is speculation about the true cause of Capt. Cole’s removal. I pray that this speculation is not true.
