First, let me offer my apology. We pay something like $78/month for GoToWebinar because it’s a great platform and we use it. It offers attendees the opportunity to ask questions in real time, and it’s basically unbeatable as far as a distance learning platform goes.
We do one webinar a month for our subscribers, and when we start the IPC Course next month, I’ll be doing some live lectures in addition to some of the recorded stuff.
What I did NOT realize was that it’s going to cap us at 101 attendees for the webinar. That means that over 250 of you were locked out due to us reaching the max (and I didn’t even realize that we were maxing out at 101). The next upgrade is $300 per month for a max of 500, which we won’t be paying.

Once upon a time, C was the world’s industrial bellwether and a Dow Jones Industrial staple. Lately, in addition to suddenly developing a very close relationship with Federal authorities who “are investigating the movement of cash among Caterpillar Inc. ’s U.S. and overseas subsidiaries”, CAT has become a completely ignored and forgotten poster name of the “old-economy” (the on in which cash flow still mattered). However, there are those who still believe that the second coming “eyeballs” as the only valuation term category is destined to end in tears, and as such care about how companies like CAT do.
Sadly, we have some more bad news: Caterpillar just reported that in January, it suffered its worst retail sales month since Lehman, with global sales plunging 14% from last January (when sales in turn had dropped 8% from a year before, while the year before had slid 3% from the year before that and so on). In fact, January was so bad, it was the first month since 2013 when CAT reported declining sales across all regions in which it does business, now that the dead CAT bounce in North America is over
Yesterday, when we reported that the last Ukraine outpost in the rebel-controlled eastern territory, the town of Debaltseve, has fallen into separatist hands, we concluded that “perhaps the only question is whether fighting continues around Mariupol which would enable Russia to have a land corridor all the way to Crimea.”
Moments ago we got the answer when Reuters reported that “pro-Russian separatists have launched mortar attacks on government-held positions near the coastal town of Mariupol in southeast Ukraine and are building up their forces there, local military reached by telephone said on Thursday.”
“Right now there are mortar attacks on Shyrokine,” a local military spokesman said referring to a village about 30 km (19 miles) east of Mariupol, along the coast of the Sea of Azov.
“There is no attempt to seize our positions up to now. The rebels are bringing up reserves,” the spokesman said.
Well, since the Minsk ceasefire is officially over before it even started, one can be sure that an attempt will be made. The reason: as the updated map below showing who controls what territory in east Ukraine currently – with Debaltseve firmly in separatist hands – Mariupol is the last remaining outpost before “Novorossiya” will have a land access to Crimea.
The Obama administration said Wednesday it is withholding from Israel some sensitive details of its nuclear negotiations with Iran because it is worried that Israeli government officials have leaked information to try to scuttle the talks – and will continue to do so.
In extraordinary admissions that reflect increasingly strained ties between the U.S. and Israel, the White House and State Department said they were not sharing everything from the negotiations with the Israelis and complained that Israeli officials had misrepresented what they had been told in the past. Meanwhile, senior U.S. officials privately blamed Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu himself for “changing the dynamic” of previously robust information-sharing by politicizing it.
The comments came as a late March deadline to forge the outline of an Iran nuclear deal looms and U.S. and Iranian negotiators prepare for a new round of talks later this week in Geneva, Switzerland.
If details of an Iranian nuclear deal could “scuttle the talks”, is it possible that this is not a good agreement for our country? Do you trust Obama to broker a good agreement with his fellow Muslims?
It appears that our military leadership is fine with his actions and his record of failures. I wonder how many more Christians and Jews will be slaughtered in the name of Allah?

“No religion is responsible for terrorism. People are responsible for violence and terrorism.”
Let’s use the same logic with one change:
“No firearm is responsible for terrorism. People are responsible for violence and terrorism.”
And yet, Obama would destroy the 2nd Amendment and our right to bear arms. He would leave our borders not only open, but encourages illegal aliens to enter freely.
I am not diverging from the point the Obama first made. We have to ask why he is purposefully trying to mislead us? Why are our borders open? Why is he limiting ammunition and the 2nd amendment. Why is your pResident openly supporting Islam?
President Obama on Wednesday said he doesn’t describe the United States as being at war with radical Islam because he doesn’t want to give undue credit to the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS).
“They’re not religious leaders, they’re terrorists,” Obama said of ISIS in remarks at the White House’s summit on countering violent extremism.
Obama argued that ISIS wants to present itself as representing a religion, which is why they refer to themselves as the Islamic State.
“We are not at war with Islam. We are at war with people who have perverted Islam,” he said. “No religion is responsible for terrorism. People are responsible for violence and terrorism.”
Quran (2:191-193) – “And kill them wherever you find them, and turn them out from where they have turned you out. And Al-Fitnah [disbelief or unrest] is worse than killing…
but if they desist, then lo! Allah is forgiving and merciful. And fight them until there is no more Fitnah [disbelief and worshipping of others along with Allah] and worship is for Allah alone. But if they cease, let there be no transgression except against Az-Zalimun (the polytheists, and wrong-doers, etc.)” (Translation is from the Noble Quran) The historical context of this passage is not defensive warfare, since Muhammad and his Muslims had just relocated to Medina and were not under attack by their Meccan adversaries. In fact, the verses urge offensive warfare, in that Muslims are to drive Meccans out of their own city (which they later did). The use of the word “persecution” by some Muslim translators is thus disingenuous (the actual Muslim words for persecution – “idtihad” – and oppression – a variation of “z-l-m” – do not appear in the verse). The actual Arabic comes from “fitna” which can mean disbelief, or the disorder that results from unbelief or temptation. Taken as a whole, the context makes clear that violence is being authorized until “religion is for Allah” – ie. unbelievers desist in their unbelief.
Quran (2:244) – “Then fight in the cause of Allah, and know that Allah Heareth and knoweth all things.”
Quran (2:216) – “Fighting is prescribed for you, and ye dislike it. But it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for you, and that ye love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knoweth, and ye know not.” Not only does this verse establish that violence can be virtuous, but it also contradicts the myth that fighting is intended only in self-defense, since the audience was obviously not under attack at the time. From the Hadith, we know that this verse was narrated at a time that Muhammad was actually trying to motivate his people into raiding merchant caravans for loot. Continue reading →
North Korea conducted the first flight test of a new submarine-launched ballistic missile last month, defense officials said this week.
The flight test of what the Pentagon is calling the KN-11 missile took place Jan. 23 off the coast of North Korea from a sea-based platform—not a submarine—located off the coast of the communist state, said officials familiar with reports of the flight test.
U.S. intelligence ships and aircraft monitored the test and tracked the successful missile firing.
Additional details of the flight test could not be learned. A Pentagon spokesman declined to comment on the test, citing the sensitivity of information about North Korea’s SLBM program.
Popular media today, including television and cinema, are rife with examples of what is often referred to as moral relativism — the use of false and fictional moral dilemmas designed to promote the rationalization of an “ends justify the means” narrative. We are also bombarded lately with entertainment depicting an endless array of “anti-heroes,” protagonists who have little to no moral code fighting antagonists who are even more evil, thus vindicating the otherwise disgusting actions of the heroes. From “24” to “Breaking Bad” to “The Walking Dead,” American minds are being saturated with propaganda selling the idea that crisis situations require a survivor to abandon conscience. In other words, in order to defeat monsters, you must become a monster.
This theme is not only unavoidable in film and TV, but also in military journals, politics, and even within liberty movement discussion.
What I see developing is an extremely dangerous philosophy that rests on the foundation that victory (or survival) is the paramount virtue and that it should be attained at any cost. Moral compass becomes a “luxury” that “true” apex survivors cannot afford, an obstacle that could eventually get one killed. I have heard some survivalists and liberty proponents in anger over the trespasses of the corrupt establishment suggest a strict adherence to the eye-for-an-eye ideology, up to and including torture, harming of the enemy’s families, and even harming the children of those who would harm us.
The price of 223 ammunition had risen over 10% in the past week. A quick check today reveals a shortage of quality 223 ammunition. Don’t expect this to change in the near future: ammunition from South Korea is sitting off the California coast. Along with everything else needed to stock your local Wal-Mart.
