Senior Citi Banker Found Dead In Bathtub With Slashed Throat

The dust has barely settled on the latest high profile banker suicide in which Deutsche Bank’s associate general counsel, and former SEC regulator, Charlie Gambino was found dead, having hung himself by the neck from a stairway banister, and here comes the latest sad entrant in the dead banker chronicles of 2014 when earlier today, the Post reports, a Citigroup banker was found dead with his throat slashed in the bathtub “of his swanky downtown apartment, authorities said Wednesday.”

Shawn D. Miller, Citigroup’s managing director of environmental and social risk management, was discovered around 3 p.m. Tuesday by a doorman in the Greenwich Street building, law enforcement sources said. “We are deeply saddened by this news and our thoughts are with Shawn’s family at this time,” said a statement sent out by Citigroup.

Bloomberg adds that “a 42-year-old man was found unconscious yesterday in the bathtub of his Greenwich Street apartment in lower Manhattan with a neck laceration and later pronounced dead, the New York Police Department said in a statement.”

Global Warming = Useful Idiots

View image on Twitter

Imagine opening your front door and seeing the above picture. As the Northeast prepares for more snow, our “leaders” continue their propaganda on global warming. Let’s call this what it is: the confiscation of wealth for redistribution to the government. Otherwise known as enslaving the people.

As history shows once again, nothing is more effective to promote an untenable agenda than the manipulation of useful idiots. Ignoring scientific data, implying that “consensus” is a valid scientific proof and renaming global warming into climate change have all been successful methods to promote this policy.

Stunning Photos Of Record Snow Covering Upstate New York: 100 Total Inches Of Snow Expected

As previously reported, the anticipated Polar Vortex 2.0 has struck, pushing temperatures in all 50 states to below freezing, while heavy snow prompted a state of emergency in western New York and contributed to the deaths of four people. According to Reuters, it was the coldest November morning across the country since 1976, according to Weather Bell Analytics, a meteorologist consulting firm. It remains to be seen how many GDP percentage points were wiped out as a result, unless of course, this time it will be different from last winter. Typically, such cold is not seen until late December through February.

Repubicans Block Vote to Stop the NSA’s Illegal Surveillance

A bill to reign in the NSA’s illegal surveillance on the people was passed in the House but stopped in the Senate by two votes. The Republicans stopped the measure and once again showed us that their political pandering for votes is meaningless when our Liberty is on the line. The elections are now over and we see that nothing will change: tyranny, greed and power are the goals of politicians in Washington. Voting is not the answer: Freedom is never given freely.

What will you do to free your children? From illegal state sponsored surveillance? From debt? From ignorance?

NSA reform bill dies in Senate

The Senate on Tuesday rejected a measure to reform the National Security Agency’s surveillance program in a 58-42 vote.

Sixty votes were needed to end debate on a motion to procced to the USA Freedom Act sponsored by Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.).

The defeat of the legislation to stop the government’s bulk data collection program will put off legislation responding to Edward Snowden’s leaks about the controversial programs until next year.

Most Democrats backed Leahy, but he was able to win over few Republicans beyond his three GOP co-sponsors, who included Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas).

Ukraine Admits Its Gold Is Gone: “There Is Almost No Gold Left In The Central Bank Vault”

Back in March, at a time when the IMF reported that Ukraine’s official gold holdings as of the end of February, so just as the State Department-facilitated coup against former president Victor Yanukovich was concluding, amounted to 42.3 tonnes or 8% of reserves…

Ferguson Action

An announcement from the jury about Darren Wilson will come any day now — and we are planning protests and actions for that day and the following days. We are asking you to get involved.

ON THE DAY OF IN THE ST LOUIS AREA:

On the day of the announcement, we’re encouraging all community members to do four things:

  1. Grab your “protest bag.” We are encouraging everyone to pack in advance: the jail support number (314-862-2249) written on your body, a change of warm gloves, hat/scarf/gloves, plastic gallon bags, snack and water, portable phone charger, paper map, medications, shatterproof goggles, list of members of your group’s numbers and birthday, some medical supplies (gauze, tape, Maalox and water, cold pack)
  2. Connect with your buddy and/or group and pick a meet-up spot. We are encouraging people to go out to protest in formed groups or with a buddy. If you don’t have a buddy, come to a safe space and you can find someone to pair with. Pick an emergency spot to meet up at.
  3. Head to two spots the night of: Shaw (at Shaw and Klemm) and the lot across from the Ferguson Police Department (on S. Florissant). Look for people with signs/flags to orient you.
  4. Breathe. We may all be anxious/angry/scared. Take a breath, ground yourself and then spring into action!

ON THE FIRST BUSINESS DAY IN THE ST LOUIS AREA, WE GO TO CLAYTON

We will converge in Clayton at 7AM. Stay tuned.

AFTER CLAYTON

The pResident has met with Ferguson “activists” and told them to stay the course. This is one of too many reasons why he is not my pResident. Our country was never designed to be controlled or defined by a central government. The reason for this was simple: a weak central government with enumerated powers would be constrained by the Constitution from becoming tyrannical and enslaving its people. Got sentience?

Hackers attacked the U.S. energy grid 79 times this year

In fiscal year 2014, there were 79 hacking incidents at energy companies that were investigated by the Computer Emergency Readiness Team, a division of the Department of Homeland Security. There were 145 incidents the previous year.

The outermost defenses aren’t holding up. Between April 2013 and 2014, hackers managed to break into 37% of energy companies, according to a survey by ThreatTrack Security.

Cybersecurity firm FireEye (FEYE) identified nearly 50 types of malware that specifically target energy companies in 2013 alone, according to its annual report. Energy firms get hit with more spy malware than other industries, according to a 2014 study by Verizon(VZ, Tech30).

In March, TrustedSec discovered spy malware in the software that a major U.S. energy provider uses to operate dozens of turbines, controllers and other industrial machinery. It had been there for a year — all because one employee clicked on a bad link in an email.

And just last month, CERT revealed that a Russian malware called BlackEnergy had found its way onto the software that controls electrical turbines in the United States.

Investigators didn’t see any attempts to damage or disrupt machines. But the malware gives hackers a backdoor to plant destructive code in the future.

So far, no computer virus has shut down any portion of the grid. But hackers are still breaking in, giving them the potential to flip switches off.

“Our grid is definitely vulnerable,” said David Kennedy, TrustedSec’s CEO. “The energy industry is pretty far behind most other industries when it comes to security best practices and maintaining systems.”

MSNBC: Dems ‘Embarrassing Themselves’ Pretending Not to Know Gruber

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And now what? Another scandal, more lies and a then a coverup or more likely a crisis in Ferguson. Or an executive order for amnesty leading to a Constitutional crisis. Add this scandal to the list of your pResident’s achievements.
If a king has no subjects, is he a king? If the liberal media is reporting this story in context, can we finally hope that Americans are realizing that Washington is not the solution? Are you realizing that the people who made our problems will never fix them but onlty exacerbate them?
