Matt Bracken: What happens when Ebola comes to Ferguson, USA, across all fifty states?

ebola_virus

I had a meeting this weekend where I reminded some of the participants about a previous conversation where I explained why I did not like exploring scenarios based on hypothetical situations. Until now. Because an Ebola pandemic is not a scenario of economic collapse or a government breakdown. How can you prepare for an airborne pathogen with a 71% death rate? How can you prepare when the government is lying and actually enabling the spread of multiple diseases in our country. While your pResident plays golf, we face the absolute greatest threat to our children’s lives.

So read Matt Bracken’s article and consider the failure of civility that may happen sooner rather than later. And then consider why this is even happening in the United States.

Bracken: When Ferguson Meets Ebola

Many American blacks are already angry. What happens to that anger when the epidemic strikes them? What happens when Ebola comes to Ferguson, USA, across all fifty states? Already brainwashed to a near fever-pitch of racial anger by professional agitators, it is my fear that after the plague hits they will then be super-beyond-belief pissed, and eager to share their case of Ebola with any white overlords and oppressors who come in range as their final act.

We Locked the Doors to Our Business Today

papr_0

I went to work today and had a discussion on Ebola protocols in our workplace. It did not take long to lock our offices on the main street of Murphy, NC and post a sign to knock or call if anyone needed to have work done. An overreaction or prudent measures? I will err on the side of caution until I see responsible adults making rational decisions to protect our citizens and borders. What will you do?

From WRSA via Zerohedge:

Who is CIDRAP?  “The Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy (CIDRAP; “SID-wrap”) is a global leader in addressing public health preparedness and emerging infectious disease response. Founded in 2001, CIDRAP is part of the Academic Health Center at the University of Minnesota.”

The full punchline from the CIDRAP report:

We believe there is scientific and epidemiologic evidence that Ebola virus has the potential to be transmitted via infectious aerosol particles both near and at a distance from infected patients, which means that healthcare workers should be wearing respirators, not facemasks.

In other words, airborne. And now the search for the next LAKE, i.e., a public company maker of powered air-purifying respirator (PAPR), begins.

McCain calls for Ebola ‘czar’

I doubt that the elected “leaders” in this country will ever realize that more money, regulations, laws and posturing will not solve problems. Increasing government by adding yet another illegal czar is the epitome of how dysfunctional the federal government has become. Ask anyone on the street for their opinion on solving Ebola: over 90% know that stopping travel from West Africa and securing the borders is paramount. The only question is why the government has not taken these actions.

McCain calls for Ebola ‘czar’

Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) on Sunday called for President Obama to nominate an Ebola “czar” to coordinate the administration’s response to the deadly virus.

“I’d like to know who’s in charge,” McCain said on CNN’s “State of the Union.”

In the past, McCain had been critical of Obama’s use of so-called “czars” to name lead officials on particular matters. In 2009, McCain tweeted that Obama had “more czars than the Romanovs — who ruled Russia for 3 centuries.”

Is This What You Voted For?

View image on Twitter

Maybe if the GOP would have fielded a candidate against Democrat Roy Cooper in the last election, the rule of law and the people’s votes might be worth something. But then again, how did our two senators vote for this activist’s judge when your pResident nominated him:

Judge Cogburn: Not exactly an “activist” judge

Cogburn’s nomination by President Barack Obama in 2010 was enthusiastically supported by both Hagan and North Carolina’s other senator, Republican Richard Burr.

So 61% of the people voted against immoral homosexual marriage in North Carolina. And it only took one fool of a judge to override the ballot box.

Gay marriage now legal in NC

“The court determines that North Carolina’s laws prohibiting same-sex marriage are unconstitutional as a matter of law,” wrote Cogburn, who was appointed to the federal bench by President Barack Obama. “The issue before this court is neither a political issue nor a moral issue. It is a legal issue and it is clear as a matter of what is now settled law in the Fourth Circuit that North Carolina laws prohibiting same sex marriage, refusing to recognize same sex marriages originating elsewhere, and/or threatening to penalize those who would solemnize such marriages, are unconstitutional.”

Though Cogburn’s federal judicial district only covers the western third of the state, North Carolina Attorney General Roy Cooper said through a spokeswoman that the Asheville judge’s order applies statewide.

The world stock market plunge is continuing as shown below. However, the top standout stock in premarket sales is Clorox: up 2.61%. And that is the story as Ebola fears will be the guiding factor for the world’s economy. But don’t be too concerned, I just received the following announcement from your pResident:

Friend — After millions of dollars in Republican attacks, control of the Senate could come down to a single seat.

We can win if you stand up to these attacks right now. But I’ll be blunt: If you do nothing, we risk losing.

Friend, there are only 23 days left until the election. And the final fundraising deadline of the election is in just 72 hours. Time is running out.

Will you pitch in today to stop a Republican Senate takeover?
If you’ve saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

Pitch in $15 IMMEDIATELY >>

Pitch in $25 IMMEDIATELY >>

Pitch in $50 IMMEDIATELY >>

Pitch in $75 IMMEDIATELY >>

Pitch in $150 IMMEDIATELY >>

Or donate another amount >>

Friend, if the Republicans take over, they’ve pledged even more obstruction. They could even shut down the government again.

That’s why I’m asking you to dig deep and help Democrats keep the Senate this year.

Can I rely on you to donate and help Democrats win?

I know I can count on you.

Thanks,

Barack Obama

I suspect the Dow will be down sharply tomorrow.

Asian stocks, oil skid on growth anxiety

Asian stocks got off to shaky start on Monday in step with a steep decline on Wall Street as worries about global economic growth sapped confidence, keeping crude oil prices stuck near four-year lows.

Braintree, Massachusetts Clinic Evacuated, Patient Isolated Over Ebola Fears

EBOLA

A medical clinic outside of Boston was quarantined and a patient has been isolated outside the hospital with a possible case of Ebola, the Boston Globe reported on Sunday.

Police, fire officials and emergency medical services have arrived at the Harvard Vanguard Medical Center in Braintree, Massachusetts, Joe Zanca, with the Braintree Fire Department, told the Globe.

“Ebola protocol is in place,” Zanca said, noting that the patient in isolation recently traveled to West Africa.

Kerry pushes for Mideast peace, donors pledge $5 billion for Palestinians

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry called on Sunday for a renewed commitment to achieving Middle East peace, saying a lasting deal between Israel, the Palestinians and all their neighbors was possible.

But prospects for a renewed peace process appeared dim as Kerry offered no specifics on how to restart negotiations in his speech to a Gaza reconstruction conference that raised more than $5 billion in aid for the Palestinians after a devastating war in the tiny coastal territory.

The last round of U.S.-brokered peace talks foundered in April over Israeli objections to a Palestinian political unity pact that included the Islamist Hamas movement and over Palestinian opposition to Israeli settlement expansion.

“Out of this conference must come not just money but a renewed commitment from everybody to work for peace that meets the aspirations of all, for Israelis, for Palestinians, for all people of this region,” Kerry told the meeting in Cairo.

“So what happens when this entire hospital in Dallas is quarantined for Ebola?”

from Watcher:

We realistically need to ask ourselves this question instead.

What happens when EVERY hospital in this country is in lockdown and quarantine?

Because this is what is going to happen if we do not stop this mismanagement of this disease now,  in futile attempts of using our present set up and infrastructure of our community hospital system and ancillary services. They are not equipped nor set up to handle public mass cases of this contagion.

Community Hospitals, at present are definitely not the best place to be diagnosed and definitely not the place to stop the spread of this deadly contagious virus.  Obviously. They are where people need to go when they need health care services. Not servicing a potential pandemic Ebola Contagion that could wipe out a significant number of our population in this country, if this is allowed to go uncontained, as the government is allowing it to do now.

This is the downfall of allowing government intervention into the once free market healthcare system. Now the hospitals are waiting for the cash cow to give them the funding to open up independent triage and testing facilities instead of fronting the funds from their own coffers. This is what happens when federal subsidies get involved in the healthcare business. The government is very aware that the national hospital systems are waiting on them.

So far, all we have seen from our healthcare system and the CDC and WHO is mismanagement and makeshift policies and procedures. This reactionary behavior and mismanagement of this contagion will continue until the game of financial chicken is won. Who will have their agenda served? and will they have to financially pay for it? That’s who will win the war against Ebola. If there is to even be a winner. The price and value of God given LIFE is not a factor here. Because we are not the winners, just subjects. Follow the agenda and follow the money.

Dallas Hospital Worker Tests Positive For Ebola

New Jersey and Nevada officials determined that sick airline passengers did not have Ebola within 5 and 2 hours. Why did officials wait over 36 hours to announce this case? There are many unanswered questions at this time but everyone should start taking this pandemic seriously since the only explanation for this second infection is airborne.

So what happens when this entire hospital is quarantined?

David DeGerolamo

Texas health worker is positive for Ebola, would be 1st Ebola transmission in U.S.

A “close contact” of the health care worker at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas who preliminarily tested positive for Ebola has been “proactively” placed in isolation, Texas Health Resources chief clinical officer Dan Varga said Sunday.

Dallas Hospital Worker Tests Positive For Ebola In First Person-To-Person Transmission On US Soil

And then there was #2. A few hours ago, Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital, announced that a health care worker who cared for dying Ebola patient Thomas Eric Duncan, has tested positive for the virus after a preliminary test, officials said early Sunday. If confirmed, it would be the first known person-to-person transmission of the disease in the United States. The name of the patients is currently unknown, what is known however, is that the worker was “considered to be at low risk for contracting the virus” and the he or she was wearing full protective gear when treating Duncan, suggesting – yet again – that there is a transmission mechanism which is not accounted for under conventional protocol.

Confirmatory testing of the second case on U.S. soil will be conducted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, the statement from the Texas Department of State Health Services said.

The worker reported a fever late Friday and was isolated and referred for testing. “We knew a second case could be a reality, and we’ve been preparing for this possibility,” said Dr. David Lakey, commissioner of the Texas Department of State Health Services. “We are broadening our team in Dallas and working with extreme diligence to prevent further spread.”
