I get asked a lot, both in training environments and via email, “John, I understand the importance of tribe, but how do I go about finding like-minded people to form a group? Should I join a group that already exists?” It’s a popular question in survivalist-prepper circles because it’s such a hard topic to consider.
Let’s think about this: It’s got to be people you can trust to not steal your belongings, to watch your back while you sleep or work, to not turn you in to the police or DHS as a “crazy, gun-nut prepper,” and finally, to not kill you when your back is turned. Yet, they also need to be interested in prepping so that significantly begins narrowing down the playing field, and let’s face it – there are a lot of preppers who seem to be running more than a few bricks shy of a load. Do you want the crazy dude that fantasizes about killing people to be pulling security while you sleep? How do you know the socially inept, hermit-like prepper down the river isn’t a pedophile or rapist?
I am going to offer a simple, but admittedly challenging, process to building a tribe-like group of people for protection and mutual aid in times of discord.
Only the weak minded will continue to vote Republican. I have heard all of the excuses for not standing up. At some point, we have to realize that there is no political solution. If politicians have not caused every problem, who has? And tell me one problem that they have solved? Vote Republican to stop the Democrat party? Both parties represent tyranny. Neither party honors the Constitution. Or the people. Or God.
What patriot would vote for the lesser of two evils? What Christian would? Start looking in the mirror and acknowledge the truth. It is time to grow up.

Of course, Mr Comey can only see the abuse of power of government as necessary and not the severe damage that has been done to the entire industry because of the abuse of the NSA and others. He said he could not understand why companies would “market something expressly to allow people to place themselves beyond the law.”Perhaps he should not work for government and then he might get it.
As of 2012, Sen. Kay Hagan (D., N.C.) was the ninth-wealthiest member of the Senate, with an estimated net worth of $24 million. Much of that is tied to her husband, Chip, who is a partner at a Greensboro law firm and holds investments in a number of businesses. One of those businesses is JDC Manufacturing, which he co-owns with his two brothers.
THE POLITICO reports that JDC Manufacturing received almost $400,000 in federal grants and tax credits for green energy projects as part of the 2009 stimulus package:
Financial disclosure statements show that the Hagans’ income from JDC Manufacturing increased from less than $201 in 2008 to nearly $134,000 in 2013. Company representatives said higher rental income account for the uptick, not the stimulus-funded projects that were completed during that span.
Asked to explain, Hagan did was she always does, and ran away. Her campaign later denied any wrongdoing in the matter.
According to Japan’s NHK, the Ontake volcano on the border of Nagano and Gifu prefectures, 200 kilometers west of Tokyo, started erupting at about 11:53 local time (02:53 GMT). The Japanese TV outlet released the following video showing the volcano spewing thick, gray smoke into the air.
How do we know when we need to address Muslim extremists in our country? The pResident has stated that Islam is a religion of peace. Our “laws” make it a hate crime to make statements against Islam. Parts of our country have become Muslim enclaves practicing Sharia law.
And yet we do not fight. So what will it take to recognize and act to restore our Judeo/Christian founding principles, our country and the rule of law? What will it take to stand up to evil? One beheading? The police have labelled this beheading as workplace violence to toe the politically correct government line. Two beheadings? How about three?

Although the way is clear, the Sacred honor and courage to stand up to this evil from both foreign and domestic enemies as our forefathers did must be rekindled. You can think about this short essay but you do not have the luxury to ignore it: ISIS is coming to our country.
Among the legions of foreign fighters who have turned the Islamic State into the world’s most dangerous terrorist organization, the Chechens stand out.
They crow on YouTube videos about battlefield successes, wave Arabic language flags referencing the war-torn Russian region, and in some cases, sport striking red beards.
In all, hundreds of fighters from Russia’s North Caucasus, where Chechnya is located, and other Russian-speaking regions are believed to be fighting in Syria and Iraq, alongside the Islamic State and al-Qaida-linked groups like the Al-Nusra Front.
The Chechens aren’t the largest group among the thousands of foreigners in Syria, but they may be playing an outsized role, as many, battle-hardened by years fighting Russian forces, help spearhead the Islamic State’s sweeping successes through Syria and Iraq, experts said.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has announced that the death toll from the Ebola epidemic in West Africa has now risen to over 3,000.
The WHO said on Friday that at least 3,091 out of 6,574 probable, suspected and confirmed cases died according to data received up to September 23.
The data provided by the UN health agency shows that Liberia has recorded 1,830 deaths. It is the most affected country, with around three times as many fatalities as any other nation in West Africa.
The outbreak, which began in Guinea, has ravaged neighboring Liberia and Sierra Leone.

Some Missouri police officers were spotted wearing ‘I am Darren Wilson’ bracelets. On Friday, the Justice Department said the bracelets will not be allowed while an officer is in uniform.
Federal officials intervened Friday to stop police in Ferguson, Mo., from wearing “I am Darren Wilson” bracelets in solidarity with the police officer who fatally shot an unarmed black 18-year-old there last month.
Ferguson Police Chief Tom Jackson agreed to bar his officers from wearing the bracelets while in uniform and on duty, and to ensure that other local police agencies did too, according to a letter released Friday by Christy Lopez, deputy chief of the special litigation section of the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division.
He did so after Justice Department officials brought the issue to his attention, alerted by residents during community meetings earlier in the week who complained they had seen officers wearing the bracelets on patrol during protests Tuesday, according to the letter.
“These bracelets reinforce the very ‘us versus them’ mentality that many residents of Ferguson believe exists,” Lopez wrote.
A man who had been fired from a food processing plant in an Oklahoma City suburb beheaded a woman with a knife and was attacking another worker when he was shot and wounded by a company official, police said Friday. As AP reports, while questioning the suspect’s co-workers, investigators learned he had recently started trying to convert several employees to Islam. As the director of news and information for the Islamic Society of Greater Oklahoma City stated, “they have this ISIS thing on their minds and now this guy has brought it to America.”
